Sweet Obsession

Over the years we had more children and adopted a few I even started my own bakery that now is run on the side I found that My children and Husbands come first so I only do holiday baking for the Diner and Marc's Cafe now with help from both Luke, Uncle and Marc

It was late one night I was up with Kendall my little princess it took 4 pregnancies to get her since I kept having twins she was my only single birth
I was nursing her in the living room when there was noise on the front porch the kind that didn't sound like any animal Kota was up with me so he got up and went to the door opening it and nearly tripping over the box he looked down and saw a little baby swaddled in a pink and green blanket with a note attached to to the box he could tell she was wet and didn't like it one bit he picked up the box and brought her in

" Kensley is there any of Kendall's clothes in the dryer " Kota asked

" Yeah why "

" We have a little girl that was left on our doorstep and she is soaked though her clothes " He says

I get up with Kendall not caring that I don't have a top on going to him and looking down at a beautiful dark haired green eyes baby that couldn't be more than a few days old

" Get her cleaned up and I will nurse her with Kendall It will help calm her"

By this time most of the house was up due to a scream infant

"what is going on why is Kendall so upset " Sean asked as he came into the living room "

" It's not Kendall " both Kota and I say

Sean comes over to us and sees the little girl , Kota had gotten her clothes off her and was wiping her down

" That's not one of ours , who is this " Sean asked as he made Kota move to check over the little one

"I'm going to go up and see if we still have that box of diapers that would fit her " Kota said as he went off

"Mama who is that " Braxton asked
" I'm not sure she was left on our doorstep "
" Why would anyone do that " Ryder asked as he and Braxton came over to get a good look

" Not sure But all I do know is she's hungry and was wet " I tell them

Kota came back with several diapers handed it to Sean who put it on her then zipped her up in a sleeper

Taking Kendall and myself back over to the rocking chair Sean brings me the little girl
I get her situated and her mouth greedily sucks on my nipple to get food
Sitting there watching both of them as they eat both falling asleep as they do
Kota takes a blanket and covers us up since the kids are all up now

" I called Dr Roberts he said for us to keep her until Morning then we can decide what to do " Owen said as he put his phone down

" Papa can we keep her" Micah Asked
" I don't know " Owen answers
" Let's read the note that was left first " Kota said as he picked it up and began to read it

His eyes go wide as he does

"What is it " Axel asked

" Let me read it to you ,

I know I'm not someone you want in your life for all that I did to you all but I knew that this was the best Choice for her This is Adaleigh my daughter I can't raise her the way she should be raised so I know I could leave her with you to raise and love I have all parental rights turned over to you Owen and Kensley I know you all will raise her as your own what ever you do please tell her that I did this for her that I do love her but she will be better off with you

Sang

Looking at Owen I can see he is turmoil
"Owen this is no different than us adopting Kash and Kyle or William and Wyatt  we love them as our own so what is one more child in a family this big we always said there is always room for one more " I tell him

"You are so right with Braxton , Ryder , Lawson , Reese moving out in a week then Henley and Harrison are going off to college in two months that only leaves Micah , Kyle , Kash , William, Wyatt and Princess Kendall and this Little Princess who is only about a three days old Adaleigh so it's not like we don't have the room " Sean said

" Alright we can put in the request to adopt her with the academy " Owen says

" Thank you " I tell him
" You know I would give anything you want Kensley My Sweet Obsession " He says as he kissed my forehead

Kyle & Kash (Adopted a year after Micah was born ) 15
William and Wyatt( adopted at six weeks old ) 12

And now Adaleigh ( Adopted ) 3 days old
