Everyone's enjoying the night, drinking their alcohol, swaying their bodies along the beat of the music. The DJ is blasting some fire music that made people in the bar get hyped. But, not for Lalisa, she's shaking her head after Jennie — who just chugged her nth glass of tequila tonight.

Jennie didn't mind the bitter taste of the alcohol. She took shot after shot, feeling the burning sensation of the alcohol running down on her throat.

"That's enough, Jen." Lisa said, taking Jennie's glass away in attempt to stop her from drinking more.

Tears began to run down from Jennie's cheeks. She didn't even try to wipe it off. Her sobs begin to become audible, earning few people's attention.

Lisa hurriedly went beside her bestfriend, giving her a hug and a rub on her back.

"I miss her, Lisa. I miss Jisoo so much." Jennie said with longingness evident on her voice.

The break up of Jennie and Jisoo greatly affected Jennie. Lisa was a witness of what her bestfriend had gone through after their split. She observed how Jennie became distant with people and how she became workaholic.

Jennie's sobs subsided and Lisa already knew that latter had already fallen asleep.

Driving back home wasn't a good idea so Lisa booked an uber.

After couple of minutee, she carefully put Jennie's arm on her shoulder and hold her friend tight to support her from not falling to the ground.

Right on cue, the uber driver has arrived. He went out from his car and opened the door for them.

"I'm Kim Jongin, your uber driver." the driver said.

The ride was smooth and safe. It wasn't a hassle for Lisa to carry Jennie on their unit. Because the girl woke up while they were on their way.

She went straight to her room and cuddled a dog stuffed toy. She forgot to thank her bestfriend for being patient with her.

And she dozed off to sleep.

-

Lisa woke up because of her annoying alarm and the first thing came up to her mind was to check her bestfriend. She opened Jennie's door, finding out that the girl isn't there.

She walked to the kitchen and still no sign of Jennie.

There's a spare room in their unit and Lisa is hundred percent sure that the girl she's looking for is there.

-

It was 4 in the morning, Jennie woke up with her head throbbing hard. She couldn't count how many shots did she take last night.

She didn't know where her feet would take her but she found herself infront of the spare room in ther unit. It serves as their office room or library. But for them, it was more than that.

She carefully opened the door not minding to switch on the light. She went to the middle part of the room. Jennie plugged something.

And then lights came from the miniature house lit up.

Jennie puts up a sad smile. It was their dream house, a three-storey residential house.

When they were in college, Jennie took up Civil Engineering, Lisa took up Electrical Engineering and Jisoo took up Architecture.

They were like match made in heaven. 'Cause their professions were connected to each other.

The three had decided to design their dream house. Jennie was in-charge with the structural designs, Lisa was in-charge with the electrical design and of course, Jisoo was in-charge with the aesthetic part of the house or the architectural designs.

At first, it was a chaos. Because they have different taste in their dreams. One wanted a mediterranean style while the other wanted modern type. After getting the ideas of each other, they've finally came up with a design.

After spending nearly two weeks working with their plates and scale model. They decided to print it out while they encased the scale model with a glass. They put a lot of dedication and passion into it. So, they kept it. It also gave them driving force in pursuing their career.

Flashback (Summer during their college days)

"One, two, three!" They all counted in unison as Lisa inserted the plug that made their scale model lit up, as she was incharged of the lightings.

"Did we seriously made this?" Jennie said in awe, staring at their work.

"It's beautiful just like the architect." Jisoo cockily said.

Lisa faked as if she was going to vomit. And Jennie, as a supportive girlfriend, went beside Jisoo and pit her arms to her girl's waist.

"Of course, you're more beautiful than that." Jennie said with flirtatious voice.

"Okay, stop with them corny shit. Let's start cleaning the room." Lisa said.

Mess is an understatement if they'd describe their room. Crumpled paper everywhere, their drafts were all over the floor and other material they have used was scattered.

"It's gonna be a long day."

They were a dream team. The three of them also thought of putting up their own construction firm in the future.

"When will we make this dream into reality?"

Despite having money to start their proposed residential house, Lisa and Jennie never talk about building it. One reason holding them back — Jisoo's absence.

Little did Jennie know, tears begin to stream down her face, again. Her heart clenched at the thought of broken promises, broken dreams and her broken heart.

She already envisioned her future with Jisoo, never did she imagine life without her. It didn't came to her mind that they'd call their relationship off.

Jennie hurriedly wipe off her tears when she heard the door clicked.

"Coffee?" Lisa offered, handing her a freshly brewed coffee.

There was a moment of silence but Jennie broke it off.

"I was about to propose to her, you know. I already had plans. It should be after our boards." Jennie opened up.

"But fate has its own way of ruining it. Funny how I blame it on fate when it was us who were to be blamed."
