I stare into his sad grey eyes, a deep warmth spreading throughout my body. It seems time itself stops, taking my breathing along with it. I feel myself becoming a little lightheaded and I'm not sure whether it's the lack of oxygen or the sound of Draco's voice that is causing it.

"(Y/n)?" Draco asks, lowering his pain stricken voice even more.

I shake my head in a weak attempt to unclog my raging thoughts. Clearing my throat, I open my mouth to speak. To my surprise, a small, warm smile finds it's way onto my lips as I answer.

"Yes, Draco."

He smiles brightly at me, any ounce of sadness now disappearing. His fingers trail their way down to my hand, holding it loosely. My cheeks flush at the contact, it feeling so foreign to me now, yet, so welcoming. Surrounding classmates glance at us, even a few begin completely staring, but I pay them no mind. I simply follow Draco silently as he leads me into a room, an empty one, not much bigger than a large closet, just a short walk away from the Great Hall.

The room where it all started.

After we both walk in, Draco shuts the door softly. Every bit of tension that had filled my body prior to this moment immediately dissipates. As Draco turns to face me, and our eyes meet, a mild heat rises to my cheeks. The sensation intensifies as the pale wizard takes slow steps toward me, only stopping inches away.

"I've missed you," he breathes, his hand timidly cupping my flushed cheek. "The past few months have been literal torture. I can't sleep, I can't eat, bloody hell, if it wasn't for just about everyone in Slytherin I would be failing all of my classes. I can't stay away from you any longer, it is literally killing me."

He leans forward and places a shy, very quick peck to my lips. There is a worried but hopeful gleam in his eyes as he pulls away.

My heart rate accelerates inside my chest, my breathing becoming uneven as well. I feel my hands begin to tense lightly at my sides as I stare into his pale grey eyes. Everything feels to be in slow motion and my vision blurs over, almost as if I wasn't the one controlling my life at all.

Which makes it all the more surprising when a mere second later I find myself with my arms draped around Draco Malfoy's neck, our lips locked tightly together. Overwhelmed with pleasure, I let out a small gasp as he slowly trails his lips down to my neck.

Memories begin flickering through my mind as I feel Draco placing his hands under my thighs, wrapping my legs around his waist and pressing me against the wall.

The ball.

A chilling whisper in my ear.

The deal being delivered by a smirking Prince.

Staying up for hours sitting on his green sheeted bed.

That first kiss, so full of tension.

The awakening of our love.

The look on his face as he saw me looming over my father.

The look on his face right now.

Every memory that I have ever experienced involving Draco showcases throughout my mind and in this moment, this single heart stopping moment, every part of my being is ignited in an overwhelming flame.

I finally allow my eyes to flutter open as I feel Draco's warm lips leave my throat. Looking back at me, eyes full of burning love, Draco smiles innocently.

With panting breaths, he attempts to speak, "Does this mean-"

"Yes."

Draco wraps one arm around my waist and leans away from the door, spinning me around in the air. I can't help but laugh as I hold on tightly to his neck. He sits me back down onto my feet and smiles brightly at me.
