-jacks pov-
I was leaning against the closed door in silence rethinking everything that just happened
Why am I so upset? Clearly she didn't mean it, it's like what North says, it's the mood changes
"Jack please can we talk about this?"
"I want to be alone right now" I replied when she slipped something throught the hole at the bottom of the door and left
I looked at it and noticed it's the promise ring she lost
I thought..?
"Y/n wait!" I shouted picking up the ring and running out the door when she completely disappeared when you sighed
"F*ck my life" I muttered when I looked down at the ring and then shoved it into my pockets and went towards the Centre
"Hey tooth, have you seen y/n?" I asked when tooth turned around and started looking confused
"Not as I know of, why?" She asked
"It's nothing, just trying to find her" I answered when bunny came in
"Hey mates" he said
"Hey bunny" me and tooth said in unison when tooth giggled at that
"We think the same ya know?" She said when I turned to face her
"I guess?" I said confused when she fluttered up
"OH! I forgot something stay here!" Tooth shouted when she quickly flew out of the Centre and a couple seconds later she flew back in
"Here, I meant you give you and y/n this, it's a congratulations present for achieving your goal to have a family" tooth said handing me a box
"Thanks, i'll let her open it whenever I find her" I replied taking it when bunny came over
"Find her? Wasn't she just here?" Bunny asked
"Yeah but she just..disappeared" I replied
"Have you checked her room?" Bunny asked when sudden realization hits me
"I'm so stupid" I facepalmed when bunny closed his eyes and slowly nodded
"I know" he answered when I glared at him
"Shut up" I snapped when I ran passed him to y/n's room
"Y/n? Are you in there? Can we talk?" I asked knocking gently on the door
"Leave me alone" she said in between sniffles making me shift a little
"Are you crying?" I asked
"....no"
I hate it when she lies
"Y/n please can we talk about this?" I pleaded when a moment later she opened the door
"I said I want to be alone" she said softly looking down at her bare feet
"Look, i'm sorry.. I guess I am looking forward to the future and that it just hurts me when the love of my life says that i'm not good enough.. It kinda reminded me of Sierra..and I shouldn't let your words get to me like that because I know you don't mean it since it's just a part of pregnancy" I said when she stayed silent still staring at her feet
"Can you forgive me?" I asked when she started tearing up again
"Jack..?"
"Yeah?"
"I..need to tell you something.." She said softly wiping her face and walking into the room away from the door as I entered
"What is it?" I asked
"Well one i'm sorry for what happened, even if it is just because of pregnancy I still should think about what to say before I actually say it" she said
"And second..I..Kinda went to the underworld to see Pitch.." She spoke when I flinched
"You what?!" I said shocked
"He took the ring" she spoke when I stayed silent and then took out the ring from my pocket and looked at it
"After I left to leave you to study I saw black sand on my hands where the ring was and I knew it was pitch so I left to get it back" she replied
"You could've just told me.." I said softly still staring at the ring
"I didn't want to disturb you and I can still do things on my own" she said
"Yeah but I promised to protect you!" I shouted now gripping the ring when she stared at me silently
"What if he took that ring on purpose which he did and knew you were going to go get it and was planning to hurt you?!" I shouted making her move a little
"I'm sorry.." She said tearing up
"Just come here" I said when I went to her and threw my arms around her giving her a tight hug
"Jack..you're hurting me" she said with a little laugh when I eased the hug a little
"Much better" she said softly burying her face into my hoodie and gripping my hair causing me to flinch
"Promise that you won't ever do that ever again" I whispered
"I promise"
