"Look it's kids..." someone said as we were walking through the town.

"I hope the girl is gonna be okay.."

"She looks shes the age all the other girls are being taken"

"I just hope the same thing doesn't happen to her"

All these comments made me shiver in fear. Then I felt something grab my hand. I looked down to see Tanjiros hand. He gave me a nod. Then I heard a bark.

"SAN?!" I screamed.

"You didn't know he was following us?" Tanjiro questioned.

"I forgot he even existed..." saying guilty then I shivered again.

"Y/n are you okay? You've been shivering since then. It's not even cold." Tanjiro asked worried.

"Yea I don't know what's happening.." I said wanting to snuggle myself to keep myself warm. "Hey is Kentaro still sleeping?"

"Yea he is"

"I think we should stop by somewhere-"

"PLEASE SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!" I guy screamed.

"MY FIANCÉ WAS TAKEN BY THOSE DEMONS!" He yelled again as everyone was watching and walked by. After a few minutes he gave up looked down and started walking somewhere.

"Let's follow him." I said

Tanjiro quickly followed him and tapped him on his shoulder.

"Excuse me we have some questions to ask you"

"So that's basically what happened..." the guy said while holding in his tears.

"Do you think they will try to get y/n too?"

"Yes she is around the age that those demons are wanting."

Hearing that made me shiver. I looked over at Kentaro making sure he is safe. He was playing with nezuko running around close by.

Then there Tanjiro and I sensed something close by.

"It's time." The guy said.

"This is when they usually take a girl."

"We have to hurry." I said as everyone got up Kentaro and nezuko following from behind.

"AHHHH!"

I turned to the corner running as fast as I could and saw a hug.

"Hurry y/n." I said to myself as I was already slamming the doors open.

I saw a demon trying to take a girl away but then I screamed.

"HEY! PESKY DEMON!"

The demon turned his head over to me and dashed towards me. Their hand started to reach out for my head.

I raised my katana and sharpened my eyes then concentrated to slash the demon in a side motion chopping their arm off.

"DONT GET IN MY WAY OF MY DINNER!" The demon yelled and regenerated their arm and tackled me to the ground.

"SHIT!" I yelled and grabbed the forehead and pushed it away from my head.

'Don't you dare give up yet y/n' I heard someone say in my thoughts, making me distracted from the demons and stupidly losing my grip of the forehead. The demon quickly almost biting my head. But I shielded myself with the katana.

All of the sudden the demon flew off my body. Making a huge impact and sound on something.

I looked over to what happened and as nezuko.

"Nezuko!" I smiled and hugged her.

She hugged back and grabbed my cheeks to see if I was okay.

"I'm okay nezuko. Thank you."

She nodded and looked at the demon.

"Y/n! Are you okay?! You just dashed and ran so fast I couldn't keep up!" Tanjiro said.

"Yea sorry I guess my power took over me." I scratched the back of my neck.

"Is the girl okay?" He asked then my eyes widened and ran to the girl.

"Hey are you okay?"

"...it almost ate me..."

"Yes I know but it's okay now we'll keep you safe."

"Okay..."

(I don't remember the guys name that got their fiancé taken so we will just call him Yama)

"Yama-San can you watch the girl while we take care of this situation"

"S-sure."

"Alright let's go Tanjiro!" We ran to a more quiet area and waited there.

"Watch out the demon could be anywhere." Tanjiro said and I nodded.

Then I saw the ground have a shade from the other direction from Tanjiro and I.

"Over there." I calmly said.

"Okay..." Tanjiro said with a shaky voice.

"Calm down Tanjiro in events like this you should be calm." Informing him.

"I know it's just hard to stay calm"

I put my hand on his shoulder and looked at him in the eyes.

"You have to calm down."

Tanjiro flinched and giving me nervous eyes and slightly turning pink.

"A- HAI HAI I'LL CALM DOWN!"

I nodded and sighed. Then something jumped out of the ground targeting me. Tanjiro tackled me to push both of our bodies out of the way.

Tanjiro was on top of me while giving a rude look to the demon and looking back at me.

"Y/n-San are you okay?"

"Yea... speaking of... where is san..."

"San is with Kentaro."

"Nasty boy give me that girl!" The demon said.

"I'm not an object. You see I'm a living thing that has a life unlike you. You go around snatching teenaged innocent girls."

"Huh?! What did you say to me?!"

"I'm not gonna say it again because you clearly heard me say nice and loud." I glared at the demon changing the atmosphere of the street.

"Shut up you're only a hopeless girl."

I rolled my eyes at Tanjiro got up and tried to help me up by reaching his hand out. Being focused on the demon I got up by myself and started twirling my katana with my left hand.

"You see here... I know there's more than 1 of you so you guys might as well show yourselves."

"How would you know there's more of us?" The demon asked threateningly.

"It's pretty obvious you're not alone because of how many teenage girls that have gone missing. Clearly one demon can not get rid of this many girls in just 2 weeks. I'm not stupid."

The demon clicked their tongue and an irk was found on my face.

"If you don't get rid of that attitude right now I swear I will kill all of you." Now it was my turn to threaten them.

"You don't even know where the others are" the demon laughed.

"Oh I know like I said earlier I'm not stupid" I smirked.
