The Dream

*Sabrina's POV*

I'm back in school now. Oh, and Bradley's parents are staying out here for a while.

He is still in a coma. Its different not having him here. Its like he moved again but its hurts worse, because I know where he is... and why.

I've started looking for colleges, something Bradley and I were gonna do together.

I hate that he is gone...and I might never get him back.

"Watch out" some guy says moving me "you almost ran into that wall"

"Oh thanks"

"No problem" he smiles "I'm Justin"

"Sabrina"

"Well nice to meet you, see yah around" he waves walking away

Its hard talking to other guys, part of me still believes Bradley is gonna wake up. The other part of me is slowly giving up.

I walk into class.

"Welcome back kids, lets call roll"

He calls our names. Then he calls Bradley's name. What? He doesn't even go here.

"Bradley Perry?"

"Bradley Perry?" He repeats

He looks around the class.

"Absent" he says under his breath

"He is in the hospital" I blurt out

"I'm very sorry to here that miss Carpenter" he looks at me for a few seconds then continues roll

"Hey, how yah doing kid" Rowan asks

"Spectacular" I say sarcastically with a fake smile

"I know it hurt Sab. Stay strong"

I raise my hand "may I go to the bathroom"

"You may"

I walk to the bathroom. I look in the mirror, hating myself for what I have done. I just stand there and cry.

Rowan walks in.

"Its gonna be okay Sabrina" she says hugging me

"But what if its not"

~after school~

When I get home I go to my room at take a nap before I go to the hospital.

I put my headphones in and drift to sleep.

"Hey B"

I look around "Bradley?" I asked confused

"Yeah" he smiles and touches my face

I touch his hand "but you-"

"I just wanna tell you ...don't cry anymore, please. It's all gonna be okay"

"They called your name at school today." I say

"yeah ...I was gonna surprise you. That wasn't leaving...that I was gonna stay there"

"Oh" I tear up "Bradley are you gonna come back"

He laughs "I never left"

"You know what I mean"

"I don't know Sab, I kinda like it here. Nothing hurts you here"

I look at the ground "I'm sorry Bradley. I just wanted to keep you safe. I didn't know this was gonna happen. Please don't go...I'm gonna miss you too much"

He moves a piece of hair from my face "its okay. I'm gonna miss you too. I love you Sabrina."

"I love you too"

He kisses me. We pull apart.

"Hey I'm never to far" he starts walking away

"No. Bradley don't go"

He waves "I love you"

"Bradley I love you. Please don't go!" I yell

I wake up. My heart is pounding and I'm out of breath .

Sarah is standing there "are you okay? You kept yelling 'dont go'"

I tell her I my dream.

"Wow. Do you think it was...really him"

I smile "I believe so"

We go to the hospital. I sit with Bradley and just talk. He doesn't reply but I know he can hear me.
