Kieran pulled away after a few minutes. He looked shocked and gave me an apologetic look.

"Felicity, I am so sorry, I didn't mean to do that" Kieran began as he put his left hand on the back of his head.

"Kieran, it's fine, look I didn't push you away, I could have if I didn't want you to kiss me" I tried to point out hoping he wouldn't blame himself for this too much.

"True but I only asked you a few days ago to be my mate and Luna, I don't want you to feel like I'm putting you under any kind of pressure for an answer or to say yes" Kieran explained

"I don't feel under any pressure" I tried so hard to reason with him

"We should get back to the pack house" Kieran said as he turned and began the way back to the pack house.

We made it back just in time before it began to pour down with rain. The rest of the journey back was quiet, Kieran barely spoke to me. I felt like he was blaming himself for something that wasn't his fault. It was like I had said to him, if I didn't want him to kiss me, I would have asked him to stop or pushed him away.

"If you want to go back down to your room in the infirmary, I'll get someone to let Dr Wilson know we're back" Kieran said avoiding to even make eye contact with me

"Aren't you going to come down and sit with me?" I asked trying not to let him hear the disappointment in my voice

"I have a few things to sort out up here" Kieran replied again not even looking my way

I didn't say anything else and just made my way back to the infirmary. I couldn't help the stinging sensation I felt going threw me. Kieran blamed himself for our kiss, but I knew deep down I secretly liked it. I haven't told Kieran that part yet, honestly, I don't think I could. I got back down to the infirmary after a long, slow walk down. I sat on the bed letting out a long sigh I didn't even know I needed to let out.

"That was quite the sigh" a female voice said from the doorway, startling me from my deep thoughts.

I snapped my head from looking at the floor to over by the doorway. There stood a teenage girl about 16 or 17, she had a slim build, about 5 foot 1, long ash blonde hair and dark brown eyes. Her eyes were identical to Kieran's was she related to him? I began to wonder.

"I'm Sophie, Kieran's little sister" she said introducing herself as she walked into the room.

"Oh right, I'm Felicity" I said introducing myself, I wasn't sure what else I could say about who I was.

"Yes, I already know, Kieran has told everyone here about you" Sophie answered as she sat down on my bed

"You mean about back at my old pack?" I asked unsure

Sophie nodded in response. I stayed quiet not sure what to say or how to respond. If all this pack knew and my pack knew then surely others will have heard about it too.

"I also know about what Kieran has offered you, about joining and becoming his mate" Sophie said out of the blue.

"He told you?" I asked shocked

"No not exactly, he was in his office with a few of his friends, also pack members when I was walking by and just happened to have a little listen in" Sophie said with a mischievous smile on her face

"Oh" was all that came to mind for me to say

"Look both you and Kieran have been hurt badly by your true mates. Please if you don't want to accept his offer, don't drag it out on him but if you do accept his offer, please look after him, you both could be very happy, Kieran will be very protective of you though" Sophie added
