S U M M A R Y Carly isn't perfect. She knows that. She's not the nicest, prettiest, or smartest girl in her school. And in some way, she's okay with that. Not being the smartest however, is not okay in her mother's eyes. Carly is passing every class. She doesn't have straight A's but she is pretty satisfied with the A to B ratio. All except that one D. So, Carly needs a tutor. Out of the selection of eligible candidates, Carly needed someone she was comfortable with, someone that she was willing to cry in front of. That person was John Ambrose McClaren. The two had barely spoken since he started at the school six years prior but she knew him. She knew he was kind, and non-judgemental, and patient; everything she needed in a tutor. And that worked for a while. Two months of strictly business. Until John Ambrose receives a letter in the mail he doesn't know how to respond to. The age-old love letter sparks Carly's curiosity and leads to an actual conversation between the two of them. It's progress, and it's enough to mix their business with pleasure. Being in a sticky situation is the last place Carly wants to be but this Valentine's day isn't letting her walk away so easily. If she wants out then she needs to face the facts; she likes John Ambrose McClaren. But the question is; between the girl of his dreams and the girl of his present, who is John Ambrose choosing as his Valentine?
