"Kon hidden girl?" Colours faded from Manik's face.
It was Nandini around him.
Cabir to Manik- "Abb tu hi sambhal. Mein aur kuchh nhi kar sakta".
Manik- "Cabir please aisa mat bol... kuchh kar".
Cabir to Nandini- "Tum yahan? Tumhe Kaira dhund rahi thi".
Nandini- "Han she found me and meine usse book v de diya".
Cabir- "Fine then. We are leaving".
Nandini- "Cabir, you can but Manik not you!"
Manik to Nandini- "Abb meine kya kiya?"
Nandini- "You know very well! Kon hai hidden girl? Why didn't you say me?"
Manik- "Woh... Woh... Woh tumne hi kaha tha that we are not so close. Toh mein kaise batata!"
Nandini- "Achha! Then we are close friends now. Abb batao!"
Manik- "Seriously! Coffee?"
Nandini- "Mmaanniikk...."
Manik- "Chalo chalo..."
And Manik took her towards the door. Seeing this, Cabir said, "Manik... Mein tujhe text karunga... Okay!"
Manik- "Done!"
Cabir went to Dhruv, Alya and Mukti. Mukti asked,
"Cabir... Manik kahan hai?"
Cabir- "Manik! Oh han, Manik thoda coffee peene gaya hai".
Alya- "Akele?"
Dhruv- "Usne mujhe v nhi bola! Is everything okay with him?"
Cabir- "Han he is fine. Usse bas woh raat ko neend thik se hui nhi hai so he is stressed. So, woh thoda akele rehna chahta hai".
Mukti- "Guys! Fresher's batch start hone ke baad se Manik thoda strange behave nhi kar raha?"
Dhruv and Alya- "Han!" And looked at each other.
Cabir- "Tum log kehna kya chahte ho? He is avoiding us! Nothing such, woh thik hojayega".
Mukti, Alya and Dhruv- "Fine..."
Manik took Nandini to the cafe adjacent to the college. And he ordered two cold coffee cups as it was hot summer. Mumbai summer sucks.
Nandini took the lead to talk after a silence of 2 minutes.
"Manik...Say me now! Kon hai hidden girl?"
Manik- "Jealous!"
Nandini- "Manik...I'm not jealous. Topic change mat karo. Come on tell me".
Manik- "Agar mein bataya then tum kya karogi?"
Nandini- "I'll help you find her some way!"
Manik- "Are you sure of it?"
Nandini- "Han Manik...Come on tell me".
Manik takes a deep breathe and speaks, "There's a girl. Woh last 6 months se mere ghar ke saamne wale park mein aake bethti thi and mein recently Best Singer ka award paya bas usse dekh dekh ke meine jo song likha tha uske liye. But uska face meine kabhi nhi dekha. Woh fireflies ka ek glass bottle leke bethti thi. Mein hamesha stars ko dekhke songs likhta tha but pehli baar usse dekh ke likha and it became so huge. So, I just want to find her to thank her".
Now, Nandini went into deep thoughts. Because she realized that, the hidden girl is non other than she herself. Now she was confused whether Manik likes the hidden girl or her. But she asked it to Manik, "But Manik...Do you love her or anyone else?"
Manik- "Mein usse thank you bolne ke liye wait kiya tha but she left early, I don't know why and next day, mein tumse mila..."
Nandini- "So, in short you just want to meet her to thank her!"
Manik- "Yeah!"
Now Nandini was really confused whether she should go in front of him as the hidden girl or Nandini. She just took another sip of her coffee and was still thinking".
