When an akuma works too well, Hawkmoth has Paris trapped. No one can leave, and his minions are scouring the city to find girls who might be Ladybug. Marinette could be caught at any moment, but there is more than a super villain chasing after her...
Felix hovered above Adrien half a metre away from his face. His eyes looked excited under the purple mask, and his huge wings flapped as he loomed over Adrien.
Adrien stepped back. Shocked.
"Felix...why are you...?"
Felix smirked and ran his hand through his hair.
"An Apprentice? Hah, didn't you see it coming?" he replied grinning. "It sure is fun being this powerful!" he laughed spinning in the air arms outstretched. Adrien clenched a fist.
"So you're just gonna be one of Hawkmoth's watchdogs? Just gonna drop that? Whatever happened to being my friend?!" Adrien shouted.
"Eh. That wasn't real, kid. Face it. You're nothing without power, and I'm the one with power."
Feeling stupid, and betrayed, Adrien threw a punch toward Felix! Felix swooped up dodging it with ease. He lay in the air as if he were in a hammock, arms resting under his head.
"HA! Friends. Yeah, right. Anyways peasant, head inside the school." Felix chuckled. In anger, Adrien jumped up to try another punch, but Felix caught the fist. Throwing Adrien in the air, and catching him by the arm.
Adrien dangled in the air being held up by the Apprentice.
"Calm down kid. I'll take you inside." Felix smiled. "Nice uniform."
Adrien was carried into the school courtyard, and was dropped in a crowd of nervous students in purple. Adrien looked around seeing all the windows covered in these purple bars. Adrien saw Alya and Nino in the distance all comforting Marinette. He ran over.
"Are you okay Mari?" he said.
Her cheeks went red.
"Yeah...yeah. I just almost got caught this morning." Mari said.
Alya hugged her.
"Students!" the principal said. Everyone turned to see a stage set up in the centre of the courtyard with the whole school around it.
"Umm...good morning everyone. I'm glad to see the uniforms are all correct. Uh..." he said nervously, with Apprentices watching him from the roof. "Yes, so this morning I am required-I mean honoured to tell you I have been commanded to step down from principal and become simply a teacher. This is because Hawkmoth believes a member of his inner circle should be in charge of the school."
Everyone's eye's widened. First the new school rules, then uniforms, now a new leader?
"Unfortunately I was not told who your new leader will be. The honourable Hawkmoth choose one of the students to do so. Thank you everyone, stay safe, and obey the rules." he sniffed, then ran off stage covering his face.
It was silent, everyone wondering who it was.
Suddenly a familiar student dressed perfectly in uniform strutted onstage. She tossed her brunette ponytail and smiled evilly at her school.
She held out her arms. "Hello everyone!"
She jumped in the air spinning in purple mist, then transformed into an Apprentice like none other. One of Hawkmoth's inner circle.
"I have only one announcement to make. Meet your new principal, Lila Rossi! And welcome to Hawkmoth's era!"
