"I know who has gardening." Alby says.
"Who?" Teresa asks.
Then she she mouths the word 'ohhh'.
"Newt." Alby says. "I'll go get him."
Alby goes to get Newt.
"Have fun with that shank." Minho says.
"What?" I ask confused.
"It's out language here. Shank, slinthead, and shuckfaces. They're all the insults." Teresa explains.
"Klunk is like another word for poop. Then we also have shuck. So you would use it as 'thats shucking dumb' or something." Minho adds.
"Yeah. Then there's slim it. It means shut up. Lastly, there's good that. Basically means did you understand that." Thomas finishes.
"Thanks." I say.
"No problem ya shank." Minho says.
"Slim it shuckface." I say back.
They look impressed.
"She's a fast learner." Thomas says.
"I'm back." I hear Alby say.
"Hello." I say.
"Hey, I'm Newt." The boy says. He has Sandy blonde hair and gorgeous brown eyes.
"I'm (Y/N). Nice to meet you Newt." I say.
He offers me a smile.
He's so adorable.
"Nice to meet you too. So I hear you're  taking gardening?" He asks.
"Yeah I am actually." I say.
"I am too. It's quite a fun class. You learn a lot. I enjoy it." He tells me.
"I'm excited. It seems like the best class I have." I tell him.
"Oh, it is. If I can promise one thing, it's that this is the best class." He says.
"Oh slim it." Minho says. "Gym is the best. Gardening is for sissies."
"Minho, stop being such a slinthead." I say.
Newt and Alby look at me shocked.
"Fast learner eh?" Newt asks in his accent.
"Yeah. I guess so." I say.
"Clearly. She's got the slang down already." Alby chuckles.
"Ok. Back to the schedule." Teresa says.
"You have class five with Minho." Teresa says.
"Have fun with him." Newt laughs.
"Talk about it." I say.
This earns a playful glare from Minho and a laugh from Newt.
"And class six, you have with, umm, who has six class English?" She asks.
"I do." Newt and Thomas say.
"Okay. So, you have class six with Newt and Thomas." She says.
"We don't have any together." I say quite bummed out.
"It's alright. We're gonna see each other at lunch, dinner, breakfast, and anytime we're in our room." She tells me. "Good that?"
"Good that." I repeat.
This earns a nod of approval from everyone in our little group.
"Alright. They're putting the fire out. That means we have to go to our rooms and settle for the night." Teresa explains.
"Bye." I say waving to everyone.
"Bye (Y/N)!" Newt says to me.
Everyone else just waves.
"Alright. The dorm room is this way." She says.
We both walk in the dark before Teresa pulls out a flashlight.
"Much better." We both giggle.
"So, how do you like it so far?" She asks.
"A lot. Everyone's so welcoming and they all seem nice. I really like it here." I tell her.
"That's good." She smiles.
"Yeah. Do you like Thomas?" I ask. "I feel like you kinda implied it earlier." I tell her.
"Is it that obvious?" She asks.
"No, but he was the only one you hugged and stuff." She opens the door.
"Yeah. I do." She says.
"Aww. You two would be cute." I say.
"You think?" She asks me.
"Oh for sure. I can see it. He seems to like you too. He just looks at you in that way." I tell her.
"You're insane." She says.
"No, I'm serious Teresa." I say.
"Oh well." She says.
We both break out in laughter.
"Pajama girls night?" She asks.
"Oh for sure!" I say excited.
I go into the wardrobe and pull out a black tank top and gold pants.
"Oh those are cute." Teresa says.
She's already changed. She's wearing her hair in a messy bun and has on a red t shirt with her pajama pants tied high waisted on her.
The pants were a nice black and red polkadot pattern.
"Yours are too." I say.
I quickly change into my pajamas and take off my jewelry.
"You'll have to do my makeup for the formal dance." She says.
"I'm not that good." I say.
"Not that good? Yours looked so good!" She exclaims.
"Thanks." I say smiling.
"No problem girlie." She says.
We both start giggling again.
I really like her. She seems so down to earth and sweet.
"Okay, but we have an important topic to discuss." She says with a serious face.
"What?" I ask nervously.
"Boys." She says.
"What?" I yell blushing.
"(Y/N) you're blushing!" She laughs.
"Well I'm sorry." I say.
"Now I know there's a boy." She says.
"What makes you say that?" I ask.
"Is it Alby?" She asks.
"No not Alby." I say.
"Hmm. Oh! It's Minho!" She says with a little too much enthusiasm.
I break down in laughter. Her following me shortly after.
I work on taking my makeup while she thinks. When I'm done I sit on my bed facing her.
"I know who it is!" She yells.
"Who?" I ask her casually.
"You like Newt don't you?" She questions.
I feel the heat go to my cheeks and I stay silent.
"You do like him!" She yells.
She's smiling ear to ear while sitting on her bed cross legged while holding her cute little turtle plush up to her face.
"You're as red as a tomato!" She laughs.
I just sigh and dramatically fall into my bed.
"He's not really my type." She says.
"Why, cause he has a limp?" I ask sitting back up.
"No. That's not it. He's nice. I just couldn't see myself with him. You, on the other hand..." She trails off.
"I can see it."
"You can?" I ask.
"Sure. Now that I'm picturing it, yes. Oh yeah." She says.
"Really?" I ask.
"Dude, yes. And he probably will like you too. You're gorgeous." She tells me.
"Aww thanks." I say.
I have the biggest smile.
"Hey, I can't lie to my new best girl." She says.
This causes us to laugh for the ten millionth time tonight.
"Yeah. I like Newt." I finally admit.
"Aww. It's alright. You'll get him. And, just to warn you, he won't make the first move. Last year, he told a girl he liked her and she called him a cripple and laughed in his face." She says.
"What?" I ask shocked.
"It sucked. I felt so bad for him." Teresa says.
"He's so cute. And his accent is just so calming. And he has really nice eyes." I say.
"Anything else?" She asks.
"He has really cute fluffy blonde hair. And I don't mind his limp. It makes him unique. And it makes him different, but in a good way." I gush.
"You really like him." She says laughing a bit.
"Yeah. I guess I do really like him. But he's super likeable." I tell her.
"Aw. I really hope it works out. For both of you guys. You'd be good for each other." She tells me.

"(Y/N) get up." I hear a scratchy morning voice say.
I feel a hand on my shoulder shaking me slightly.
"Hmm" I grumble.
"(Y/N) today is introduction day. To all the classes. Get up." The voice says.
My eyes flutter open and I see Teresa standing next to my bed.
"Goodmorning." I say.
"Goodmorning." She smiles at me.
"What's today?" I ask.
"It's the day you finally get settled in." She says to me.
