Foreword
Hello everyone reading this. This project is something I loved making. I will be making more projects set in the same world as this. This work was originally made for my creative writing class for the play project but as I worked on it, I fell in love with writing more and more about the world and developing everything more and more. I have used advice from friends, family, teachers and past authors to help improve this and some parts have small shout outs to those that have helped inspire this work. I am so glad I got the chance to make this all. I have a few things I would like to say before you read.
I am open to criticism.
Please enter with an open mind. Not everything in this book will be what many call "Politically correct."
So you all aren't confused at the start, Sam isn't transgender. I first put him in cause I loved how a lot of fantasy works had demi humans and addressed problems with said demi humans. One of the things I found fun about some different variations of the cat demi humans is that some versions have the males not as big and buff dudes but smaller and quite similar to their female counterparts. I thought it would be funny to have it there. After I had already worked him into the story and really liked him as a character, I realized that some people may interpret it in the wrong way and I would rather not receive a lot of hate for something small and fun I wanted to have in the book. Sorry about addressing it like this. I just want to make sure I am safe.
