Chapter 1: what.a.day

Jade

My alarm goes off and I groan in annoyance,
" why must school be so early ?" I mumble to myself,
" I have no idea but get up !" I hear my annoying brother say , I sigh and get up . I get up and look into my closet and my eyes widen . I totally forgot I have no jeans because I there at the wash place , only..leggings,
" why ? Why!" I say to myself. Well , I guess I must go through with it . I take them off the hanger and go in the bathroom to shower.

I go downstairs and see my mom flipping pancakes.
" hey momma dukes" she smiles at me and i sit down,
" good morning my love" she says as she puts my plate of breakfast in front of me,
" what the fuck are you wearing ?" I turn to see my brother , I look at him with confusion,
" Um..clothes ?" I say obviously. I take a sip of my orange juice ,
" you never wear grey leggings, you trying to show off to someone ?" He says , ugh..I hate over protective brothers sometimes .
" I have no jeans Andrew grow up!" I say throwing an orange at him , him playing football he catches it ,
" whatever, let's go I'm taking you to school" he mumbles, I nod and grab my bookbag . I actually feel kind of comfortable, Greg leggings , red sweater and red converse.
My name is jade Hopkins and I'm 16 years old in the 11th grade, I have brown long hair and I am extremely awkward and quiet but can be a loud mouth when I want to be .

We arrived to the school and we both get out and I walk inside the school , I look around and spot my best friend from a mile away , I walk towards her and I surprise her by hugging her,
" holy shit Hopkins you scared me!" She says , I laugh and she hugs me back ,
" how's a going today Blake ?" I ask her as we walk to our class ,
" I'm doing good , I have to talk to you later though okay ?" She says , I look at her suspicious and she shoves me playfully and I smile ,
" so i wa- ." Before I get to respond I bump into someone who feels like a wall by the way and fall on my bottom , I look up and my breath hitches , it's Christian star , 17 year old asshole , so I've heard , he's a player as I'm not surprised by his glorious looks , and a football player . But enough about him let's get back to the story .
As I look up he looks at me with a serious angry look on his face , he slowly bends down to my level , I watch his every move as he leans closer to me , I hold my breath as his face is close to mine ,
" watch where the fuck your going" did he really just say that ? Instead of helping me up ? He is an asshole .
" I-I'm sorry" what a punk Hopkins , he gets up and looks down at me before walking away ,
" are you okay ?" Says my best friend Blake , she helps me up and grabs my books,
" what a dickhead" she mumbles, she hands me my books and I watch as he walks away.
" definitely" I say agreeing with her, we turn and walk away but not before getting stopped by someone ,
" did you just bump into my boyfriend?" I hear a high pitch girl say , I sigh and she crosses her arms ,
" it was an accident okay ? It happens all the time" I say in a boring tone already over this broad .
" it better have" she says with a fake smile , I fight the urge to roll my eyes as she walks away , that was preppy fake Chelsea , I've know her for about 4 years now , never really like her and vice Versa .
" come on let's go to class" Blake says , I nod and we head to class .

" okay see you later I have gym" I say whining , Blake sighs and gives me a hug ,
" I'm sorry I have to throw you to the wolves" Blake says dramatically crying , I join her and we start laughing together,
" see you later" Blake says walking away , I head to the locker rooms and notice everyone is already in the gym , as I walk in I hear one of the showers on, I roll my eyes as I think I'm not the only one that's gonna be in there. As I walk more in and my eyes widen at the sight I'm seeing , it's Christian with Chelsea and it's not a pretty sight . He's completely naked and she's well naked too.
What the fuck , wait did I just say that out loud ?
Christian and Chelsea both look at me and I immediately run out , holy shit holy shit holy shit I seen them having sex ? Did they see my face ? Ugh..obviously Hopkins . I enter the boys locker room and see that it's empty, good, I can change in here , I take off my book bag and pull out my gym clothes , as I do the gym doors open, I hide behind a locker and peek to see who it is , of course it's the one person I hoped it wouldn't be. Christian star.
He walks right so I move left , I move forward so we're on different sides , the door is right there jade , run! I quickly head for the door and as I open it well, let's just say I don't make it. The door slams shut and I squeal in surprise, I turn and see Christian looking down at me ,
" you want my attention? You definitely got it now" he says looking down then up again , I look at him with confusion,
" what do you mean I want your attention?" I ask quietly because I am definitely scared out my mind right now , I know he can be reckless so I've heard .
" you bump into me today , you walk around with these tight little leggings" as he says that my eyes widen , I'll have you know I'm only wearing leggings because all my jeans are at the wash . But of course that didn't come out my mouth .
" what I wear doesn't concern you" I say to him , he smirks at me and his hand caresses my face , I gasp escapes me ,
" don't be scared little princess I'm not gonna hurt you" he says quietly, I continue to stare at him and I catch him look down at my lips,
" I hope this will be the last time we run into each other , because next time , I won't be too fucking nice about it." He says, his words making me flinch , not knowing what to say I stay quiet , he backs up and gives me space ,
" run along now little one" he says crossing his arms , I immediately open the door and run out , little one? I may be shorter than him and have a slim figure but I'll have him know my body is amazing. I look back to see if he came out as well but he doesn't , as I look forward I bump into someone else , oh great..
" I-I'm sorry" I say looking up at a complete guy stranger ,
" don't worry about it , hey are you okay you look a little pale?" He asks , I gently smile and nod not wanting to say what took place in either of the locker rooms .
" I'm fine, thank you" I say and walk away , well class is almost over so I'll just walk around the school .
" Jade ?" I turn to see Andrew, son of Bitch .
" hey Andrew what are you doing here?" I ask him nervously chuckling , he looks at me with confusion,
" um I go to school here ? Why aren't you in class?" He asks me , quick come up with something clever jade !
" I um had to use the bathroom?" He looks at me skeptical and shrugs ,
" whatever get back to class jade" he says walking away , I sigh in relief and then..the world ends .
" did you hear about Christian totally embarrassing jade today ?" I hear two girls talking about it , I quickly turn to Andrew and he stops in his tracks , he looks at the girls who has walked past me already ,
" what the fuck did those girls just say ?" He asks me , I have absolutely no words .
" I-it was nothing Andrew please just let it go" I plead to him ,
" I'm gonna Kill that guy" he says angrily , I shake my head and grab his arms ,
" please just let it go it was an accident!" I say loudly , he chuckles humorously ,
" him embarrassing you is an accident? That's all I need to hear to know he bothered you and for that he's a dead man" he walks away and I just stand there , what am I gonna do ? Wait! Operation get Andrew to NOT see Christian today is in tact .

It's now the end of the day and Andrew hasn't seen Christian yet , thank you god , thank you. I walk out the school and see Blake , I smile and approach her , she smiles as she sees me,
" hey jade , where's Andrew he needs to drive us to your house I'm tired!" She says dramatically jumping up and down , I laugh and look around for him ,
" I'm actually so happy , he found out about the whole Christian thing and he wants to pound his head in so I made sure he didn't ." I say smiling proudly , and then ..the world ends..again ?
" hey Christian !" I quickly turn to see Andrew approaching Christian , looks my plan didn't work .
" Andrew no!" I say running to him , I get in between them and push Andrew back , Blake helps as Andrew is so strong . Annoying .
" if you talk to my sister again your dead got it?" He says , Christian chuckles and walks forward , Blake holds onto Andrew so I push Christian back , he looked surprised but quickly covers it with an empty look.
" just leave , now!" I scream at him , tears threatening my eyes . I could've sworn I seen a look of sympathy but maybe I'm going crazy . Chelsea grabs his arm but pulls away from her ,
" let's just go babe" she says purring into his ear , I quietly scoff and I look at him as he walks away staring at me ,
" let's go please?" I hear Blake say to Andrew , he looks down at her and nods . I turn to see Christian get into his car and his eyes are still trained on me , why? He drives away and I turn to walk with Blake and Andrew .
