Chapter 5: date night

Jade

" I hate school " I mumble as we walk in ,
" Oh come on it's not that bad " I look at Blake and raise my eyebrows as she says that , she laughs and bumps me on the shoulder .
" Blake !" We turn to see my brother Andrew approaching , he leans in and my eyes widen , what the!? Blake steps back ,
" What are you doing Andrew?" He nervously looks at me , he clears his throat,
" I was gonna blow an eyelash off her face , I seen it as I walked closer ." He nervously chuckles, I look at Blake who's looking down .
" Okay?" Me and Blake walk to class , i look at Blake,
" What the hell was that?" I ask her , she snaps out of her thoughts and looks at me ,
" N-nothing , you heard what he said" she looks away after she speaks , I slowly nod , as we walk in the classroom I see Christian with his friends, I blush as he catches me staring at him , I sit down and Blake sits next to me , I look behind me but of course smoothly to make sure Christian doesn't notice , I turn half way and see him walking towards me . I quickly turn around and start to draw random things on my notebook.
" Hello little one" I look up to see a extremely close Christian in front of me , he puts his hands on my desk .
" H-hi" surprisedly I didn't comment on the nickname .
" What are you drawing?" He asks , I look down to see scribbles on my paper , great going Hopkins . He chuckles and goes back to his seat , well that went amazing.

Blake

I got a text from Andrew telling me to meet up with him,
" Hey" I turn to see him approaching me ,
" Why the hell didn't you tell her yet!?" He whispers , I sigh and look up at him,
" I don't want her to feel left out" I explain to him,
" She won't Blake, I'll make sure of it " he smiles down at me and I nod ,
" Okay, I'll tell her after school I promise" he leans down to kiss me and our lips meet , oh wow this is amazing.

Jade

After Blake left to the bathroom she literally never came back.
"Little one" I jump as I hear Christiand voice beside me,
" Oh hey Christian" I say awkwardly, he chuckles,
"I'm taking you out tonight" I Immediately get nervous, I haven't been on a date since a year and a half, so excited. Not. I'm terrified!
" Um yeah sure whatever" I chuckle not so bluntly.
" Are you nervous princess?" I suck in a breath, that actually made me a little sweaty ,
" N-no of course not" of course I am! As he goes to reply..
" Hi baby" I look up to see Chelsea approaching us, she sits on Christans lap, what the?
" Oh hi jade , didn't see you there" she says smirking, I look at her then at Christan who has no emotion in his eyes ,
" I should go" I get up and walk to the door as the bell rings , I thought they weren't together? Was he just playing with my emotions ? Was he-
" Jade" I turn to see asher , he catches up to me,
" Hey asher" I quietly say , he pulls me in front of him as we stop walking.
" Are you okay?" He asks, i mean I should be, I should have known better to think someone like Christian could actually like me.
" Christan played with me, and I hate being played" I say looking down , it's quiet for a bit,
" Yeah me too, why don't we hang out and talk about how we hate players?" I look up at him and smile ,
"Let me take you out, I promise I won't play you" he says , the way he said it , boy I sure do believe him.
" Okay, sure I'd love that" first I was going on a date with Christian, now I am with asher , funny how things work.
" Pick you up around 8?" I nod and he gently takes my hand and kisses it , I blush and look down.
" See you then" he then walks away , this is amazing!
" Jade" I turn to see Blake and I cross my arms ,
" and where were you?" I ask her , she grabs both my hands,
" Let me explain at your house?" I sigh and nod,

" When did this happen?" I ask her , we're currently sitting on my bed ,
" We started dating yesterday" she said hesitantly, I stare at her for a moment and then I scream of joy ,
" My best friend and my brother this is amazing!" I hug her but she quickly pulls away ,
" Wait wait wait your not upset with me?" She asks , I give her a ' are you serious?' look ,
" Are you kidding? Of course not Blake , I love you guys and you deserve to be happy" she smiled and hugs me ,
" Thanks j , so what about you and Christian?" I gag at his name and she laughs,
" Yeah it's not happening" she holds my hand ,
" I'm sorry it didn't work out" I shrug , acting as if it doesn't hurt like hell.
" Yeah well, I have a date soon so if you don't mind I'll be in the shower" I get up but Blake immediately stops me ,
" Wait what ? A date with who?" She asks , should I tell her ? Duh.
" With..asher star" her eyes widen as I say that ,
" what!! Oh my gosh jade you definitely have your options out" I laugh and walk to the bathroom,I'm ready for date night.

"Where are your going ?" I hear Andrew ask , ugh ..do I really need to tell him ?
" Um on a date" I say as fast as possible,
" Did I hear date?" I hear my mom say , great her too?
"Yes mom it's not a big deal" I explain to her , she raises hey eyebrows and I chuckle,
" Make sure to be home by 9 it's a school night" I nod and the doorbell rings , me and Andrew look at each other and Sprint towards the front door , he pushes me back giving him first place, he opens the door and we see asher ,
" Hi asher " we say in sync . I glare at Andrew,
" Oh hey guys" he says laughing as he can tell we are out of breath and been through war.
" Are you ready ?" He asks
I nod and I walk out but not before Andrew puts his two cents in.
" Bring her back 9pm on the dot" I roll my eyes and Asher chuckles ,
" Definitely" we walk to the car and he opens the car door for me,
" Why thank you Mr star" I say , he smiles ,
" My pleasure Mrs Hopkins" he closes the door and I laugh at our humor .
" So where are we going ?"
I ask him as I put on my seat belt and he does the same.
" Juniors , have you ever been there?" Why am I not surprised that we are going there?
" Oh your mom's restaurant" he looks at me then back at the road .
" How'd you know my mom owns the place?" I smirk and shrug my shoulders ,
" Just a hutch" he laughs and I smile , let's see how this night goes .

This night is going super well. So far we've had a cheese burger and fries with a milkshake which was delicious.
" So tell me about yourself mystery girl" I chuckle at the nickname he gave me,
" I'm from New Jersey, moved here when I was 10, I'm 17 in the 11th grade, I have a brother and a mom, no dad in the picture, only ever dated one guy , embarrassing I know" I chuckle
" Not embarrassing at all, I'm sorry your dad isn't here, he's really missing out " I look at him and smile , wow isn't he a charmer.
" Hello brother" I look up to see Christian and my heat immediately stops , am I surprised to see him here? Not really his mom owns the place!
" Do you mind? I'm kinda busy here" he says shooing him off , he glares at him then looks at me and I of course immediately look away ,
" Well since I was supposed to go out with her tonight I mind as well join you guys right?" As I go to say no , get the hell out of here Christan already slides in the booth pushing me in, I glare at him and he smirks at me,
" This isn't funny Christan" I say to him, he looks at me
" Not trying to be, you can be on a date with two people can't you?" What kind of game is this guy playing? He chose to be with Chelsea.
" Shouldn't you be on a date with Chelsea?" I ask him, his smirk disappears and he gives me this hard look ,
" We're not together" he says , I chuckle and shake my head ,
" Could've fooled me" I mumble , he leans in closer,
" I'm sorry what was that princess?" Ad I go to answer his snarky comment,
" Alright that's enough Christian get lost" Asher says jumping in, Christian looks at Asher with a glare , he gets up and looks at me,
" See you around little one" he then walks away and I can finally breathe again .
" I'm so sorry about him, he's a dick" Asher says apologizing.
" Don't be, I should be sorry for you" he laughs and I join him,
" Let's get you home yeah?" I nod and we get up .
What a date .

" I had fun , minus the whole Christian thing of course." He chuckles and nods in agreement.
" I hope we can do this again" he says, I look up at him and smile,
" Of course" he leans down , am I going to kiss asher star!? The door then speeds open and I back up in reflex,
" It's 8:59" Andrew says smirking, I glare at him and then look at Asher ,
" Bye asher " I say quietly, he gently smiles ,
" Bye jade " he walks off the steps and I go inside,
" Your an ass " I say to Andrew , he chuckles and we head upstairs,
Time for bed.
