The day that Alison moved in felt like a billion years ago and at the same time it felt like no time had passed at all.

I could still remember the conversation we had when the decision was made. We were sitting in the kitchen as we often do, and we were discussing my mess of a love life and her mess of a financial one; what one had the other did not.

And now, she was moving out. Boxes were everywhere and the girls were screaming orders at each other between floors while I did all the heavy lifting. "Here" Maya smiles, handing off a heavy box to me. I look down on top to see what could possibly be inside and roll my eyes to find it simply labeled, blankets. Women and their blankets. It was almost as bad as the pillow fascination.

I head out the front door to the moving truck and load the box, looking around at all the room that's left inside. The girls would certainly need a lot more stuff to fill up an entire apartment but it was a start.

I think of Maya's move to my house and it makes me sad that she didn't even have enough to warrant getting a moving van. I would have to get her a credit card soon enough that she could charge until her heart was content.

"Are you spacing out again?" Maya asks. Admittedly, I'd been doing that a lot today. She climbs up into the truck to join me, brushing off her jeans. She had paired them with one of my shirts, deciding not to risk ruining one of her own and her blonde hair was up in a high ponytail to stay out of the way while we worked.

She looked gorgeously breathtaking as per usual. "I'm just thinking" I reply, grabbing her waist and pulling her towards me. When her hands land on my chest I notice the lack of bling on her finger and furrow my eyebrows. "Where's your ring?"

"Oh" she blushes, sliding her hands up behind my neck. "I took it off. Didn't wanna lose it, you know? Or get it caught on something. I'll put it back on, don't worry" she soothes, tugging at the hair at the nape of my neck.

"I wasn't worried" I lie earning a chuckle from my fiancée as she leans up on her tiptoes to kiss me. She expects it to be a short, quick kiss which is obvious by the slight movement her head makes, backing away from me a millisecond later but I caress her cheek, deepening the kiss instead. She moans beneath me, kissing me back with equaled passion as her lips part for my tongue to slip inside her mouth.

"Josh" she murmurs against my lips as my hands slide down her back and towards her ass. I hoist her up without breaking our kiss and walk her towards the boxes, setting her down and finally trailing my lips away from her lips and across her jaw. "Baby. The girls could walk in" she whimpers when my hand slips beneath her shirt and slides up beneath her sports bra.

"So? It's our house" I argue, straightening up and pressing another lasting kiss to her lips. I reach for the fastenings on her jeans and wedge my hand down the front of them between us.

"Shit" she pants as my fingers push her panties to the side to collect the moisture building up within her walls. "You know, I just came out here to see what was taking you so long" she points out as my thumb travels upwards towards her clit.

"And?"

"I wasn't planning on this" she laughs and simultaneously moans as I push my thumb against her clit, causing her head to fall back in pleasure. She grips my wrist, trying to get me to stop while her other hand wraps around the box she's precariously sitting atop.

"I wasn't planning on any of this" I remind her, nipping at her ear as I slowly ease a finger inside her. She cries out, the noise echoing off the walls of the truck. "But I saw you at that bar and I knew my life as I knew it was over. I'm just sorry I fucked you before I got to know you."
