You know that I got a man

I wake up having the sun blind me in the eyes having a massive pounding in my head. I grown and look at my phone and see my clothes and someone else's clothes. Shit. I turn over and seen it was Nick. Fuck. He opens his eyes.

N: "good morning"

He says in a raspy voice that send chills down my spine

K: "good morning"

I sit up having him do the same

K: "do you remember anything"
N: "no just us kissing"
K: "I don't even remember that"

I laugh out

K: "what's wrong with me sleeping with my best friends"

I laugh out

N: "I mean it wouldn't be that bad"
K: "what you mean"
N: "I mean I like you. I was going to tell you but sense we slept together"

He laughs out

K: "yea"

I smile

N: "will you go on a date with me?"
K: "yea...yea I would like that"

I smile out

N: "I was going to ask you differently and not naked"

We both laugh

K: "so when do you want to do that date?"
N: "today?"
K: "I got time"
N: "good"

We both smile

K: "Can I tell you something"
N: "mhm"

He looks at my eyes and at my lips

K: "this doesn't feel weird to me"

I point to us

N: "yea. Same here"

He looks at my eyes and down my lips again

K: "just kiss me. I know you want to"

After I said that he immediately kissed me. Slowly but attacking. This just felt right to me. To us. I feel like this was suppose to happen.

I got home still having a pounding in my head but not that bad. Me and nick took an Uber to the dorms. He also said he would pick me up at 5. It's now 2 so I got time.

I start to jiggle the door since I seen my roommates car there.

K: "hey Baily"
B: "where were you?"
K: "at a party"
B: "wait. You? At a party?"
K: "yea why?"

I say confused

B: "you went to a party!?"
K: "hey I used to party"
B: "but your first college party"
K: "I know"
B: "so you got laid?"
K: "yea?"
B: "who?"
K: "nick"
B: "wait your best friend?"
K: "yea"

A smile comes on my face

B: "you like him"
K: "yea"

I smile out

B: "like a lot"

She smiles out.

K: "yea"
B: "I thought he would stay in the friend zone"
K: "really?"
B: "yea. I'm just glad you're moving on"
K: "same here"

I told her everything about me and gray. When we first met we just clicked like we knew each other like we were best friends.

B: "so when are you going on that date of yours?"
K: "in three hours ish"
B: "ok so we have time"
K: "of what?"
B: "to watch a movie"

She laughs out

K: "what are we going to watch now?"
B: "I don't know to be honest"

She chuckles out.

After we watched the movie it was time to get ready I get in some high rise pants and a crop top. I put some makeup on and curl my hair I listen to music and didn't know Baily let nick in.

N: "knock knock"

I turn around

K: "hey"

I say with a big smile on my face.

N: "ready?"
K: "yea. Let me get my jacket"

I get my jacket from my closet.

K: "ok I'm ready"

We both smile like kids in a candy store.

B: "you two have fun. But not that much. No baby yet"
K: "ok mom byeeeeee"

I say going out of the door.

We go to his car.

N: "after you"

He opens the passenger seat

K: "well thank you"

I smile out

He closes the door and goes to the drivers seat.

N: "you ready?"
K: "I guess"

I smile out

He starts the car and drives away.

We arrive to this lake that's was so pretty in the moon light.

K: "you're not like killing me right?"
N: "of course not"

We both get out of the car and start to hold hands while we walk closer to the water.

K: "why are we here?"
N: "do you remember when it was our freshman year?"
K: "yea?"

He stops while I do the same

N: "we went to this place and you loved it so much because the moon sparkles the water like glass in the light"
K: "wait is it this place!?"

I say while I get excited

N: "that was the first time I fell in love with you"
K: "what?"
N: "I seen you in another way even though we grew up together when we were babies"

I chuckle

N: "I just fell in love with you..and Kacie Im still in love with you. I would never hurt you I will always make you happy...so what I'm saying is. Will you be my girlfriend?"

I smile like I'm a kid in a candy store

K: "yes"

I say with a big smile.

He kisses me so slowly like he wanted to do this for so long. He wanted me to be his girlfriend for so long. I had like him since middle school and the old feelings started to come back.

I'm so glad he loves me. Maybe I love him too.
