Kenzie POV Just another day in the hell hole/my home. I've gotten used to the fact that I will never leave but they can at least let me have messages on my phone like damn. On my way to 'class' I saw the there was some guy in handcuffs but I didn't pay much attention because there was obviously someone trespassing or something. I saw that he had a suitcase with him but I still don't care because I know better then to get involved with my curiosity.
"Mrs.Ziegler your late" mrs.brown said "Sorry" I said taking a seat in the back by myself as Annie and Asher just stared at me. "Ok and that's why you can't split and at-" she was interrupted by the door opening "hi mrs. Brown" one of the hospital nurses said "we have a new patient" she said as a blond guy with florescent green eyes walked in holdings piece of paper "hi there" mrs.brown said smiling "hello" he said clearly not wanting to be here "well I'm mrs.brown but we will get more into that in a minute" she said talking one of his papers and placing it on her desk "well you can take a seat in any of the open tables" she said turning around a waking to her computer
"Ok students give me 10 minutes to get this email done then we will do our little introduction" she said not even minding us. I just rolled my eyes and started reading my science book since I left my phone in my room. "Can I sit here" I heard someone say but I didn't mind it "are you like def or something" he asked waving his hand in front of my face "oh um sorry" I said moving my backpack out of the chair "it's fine" he said sitting down "well my name is Mackenzie" I said sticking out his hand to see him just stare at me "or not" I mutter "Johnny" he said like 5 minutes later "what" I said looking at him "my name. Is Johnny" he said "oh ok" I said giving a small smile
"So what is it like in one of these" he asked turning to me "what do you mean" I ask "well I've never been like in a hospital for crazies but I know most aren't like this" he said "first off you can't go around calling people crazy or they can take away your phone. And two it's pretty much like school except you can go home whenever since you live here" I said "ok. So I could leave right now" he said smirking "I mean you can but they will make your life hell" I said "you seem like you would know first hand" he said "I've done everything I could to make people feel pain in this place and let's just say they never give up" I explained
"So how long have you been here" he asks "um about 2 years" I said "wow. Don't they have to let you go when your 18" he said "not if they don't want to" I said "mental health isn't just a things you can get over in a year it's a process and it takes hard work and dedication" I said "do you wanna leave" he asked "I just wanna go to high school" I said "you've never been" he asked "no. I left in the middle of grade 8 and I have 2 years until I graduate but I haven't been to 1 dance or party" I explained "high school isn't so lollipops and gumdrops. It sucks and people make you do dumbass things that get you in trouble" he said looking into my eyes
"You are so hot" I blurted out and his eyes widened in shock "omg I didn't mean that say that" I said covering my mouth "have you ever been in a relationship" he asked "no. We aren't allowed to date here" I said "that doesn't mean we can't" he said smirking "I literally just met you like 8 minutes ago" I said giggling "no you saw me in the hallway" he said and I just say there confused "I was in handcuffs" he said "ohhhhhhh ok I'm feel dumb now" I said "no. Most people wouldn't expect the new kid to be in handcuffs already but I guess I just felt like being rebellious" he said chuckling which I awwwwed at
"When I first got here I was put into a mental cell for attacking my brother" I said "your siblings go here" he questioned "yeah me and him so back off dude" Annie said from behind me and I rolled my eyes at him "hi" I said turning around "hi Mackenzie and new guy" Hayden said "my name is Johnny" he said rolling is eyes "ew that's an ugly name for a really hot guy" Annie said which caused me to put my head in my hands "wow ok" he said "I'm annie btw" she said sticking out her hand "ok" he said shaking it "I'm Hayden" he said not wanting to shake his hand "hi" Johnny said clearly uncomfortable so I just started the speak
"Shouldn't you guys be going back to your seats" I asked them "we have 5 minutes" Annie said sitting on the other side of the table and Hayden follows her and Johnny let's out a sigh which I giggle at. "Why are you here" Annie asked which caused Johnny to look taken back "why do you care" he snapped back "it was a fucking question Damn" Hayden asked "you know you aren't supposed to be friends with someone who has the same problem as you" Asher said to me "and how do you know that" I ask him "Johnny and I used to hangout, then he decided to get high and damage a shit ton of stuff and ended up in jail for 12 months" Asher said
"Wow just explain my whole life story why don't you" Johnny said rolling his eyes "actually please do I'm interested in his life story" Annie said "well John Vincent Orlando was born on January 24,2003 in Canada" he said and Johnny rolled his eyes "he has 3 sisters, he is a great singer. He has a medical condition where his cheeks will get red but he's not blushing it's pretty cool" he explained "ok thank you. That all they need to know" Johnny said rolling his eyes
"Ok class lets do our introduction" mrs.brown says and we all got out of our seats and made it to the front "let's start with Mackenzie" she said, there is only 6 of us is it's pretty quick "hi I'm Mackenzie I'm 16, a singer, and I love chips" I said which caused him to blush. "Ok that was great everyone now you guys can't go to your check ups then meet me back here in 2 hours" mrs.brown said as everyone got up and left "do you have an appointment today" I asked Johnny "nope. You" he said "nah. Well I guess it's just me and you" know said smiling "I guess so" he said grabbing my hand and pulling me around.
