We sit in the deafening silence together. I had no idea what he was going through. Why wouldn't he just tell me? I could've helped him! I feel the warm tears fall down my cheeks. I laugh to myself. It's  funny. All this time he'd been having issues over something that happened years ago and he didn't tell me. He didn't tell his own husband.

"...Sans?" Red asks cautiously.

"Why couldn't you talk to me?" I demand.

"What??"

"Why couldn't you tell me what was wrong?!" My laughter has now turned into screams. I can hardly breath. "You have to understand, Red." I yell. "By hurting yourself you're hurting me!" I slump to the floor and sob into my knees.

"I-I'm... I'm sorry, Sans. I didn't want to worry you!"

"Worry me?!" I yell. "By hiding this from me you've managed to send your child to her uncles' and maybe get yourself a divorce!" My heart shatters at the last word. I can hardly believe I just said it. Red's eyes widen and tears of his own fall down his cheeks.

"A... A divorce?" He stutters in disbelief.
