Mir-cat-ulous Ladybug and Chat Noir

So kinda sorta got back into MLB and Adrian is a bean who needs to be drawn.

One problem. I suck at humans.

So to solve that, like all my artist problems, I turned him into a cat!

It wasn't very hard to do, at least for Chat Noir, Ladybug was fun to turn into a cat but Adrian and Marionette were both a little more challenging. Ya know their identities would be a lot easier to keep if they were cats (even tho they apparently already have the best system ever; aka the Danny Phantom system; aka everyone is as smart as the kitchen sink)

So I present to you Cat!Ladybug and Cat!Chat Noir

Then I did Adrian and Marionette

Ngl I'm not too happy with Marionette, I was going for a pouty/annoyed face like the one she gets whenever she's dealing with Chloe and Adrian is a friggin angel thats colored like cookie dough, which makes me hungry. Now I want to eat cookie dough.

I wanna do more characters tho, like Chloe and Sabrina and Alya and Nino, maybe even Volpina and Queen Bee, maayyybbeee Hawkmoth. We'll see.

Anyway! That's about everything— oh wait lol this was for a class assignment but I failed to do the other half cuz rebellion^TM and but the first half still looks amazing so here's some color theory stuff!!!

Analogous coloring, aka three colors right next to each other, yellow to green.

Monochrome blue, it's the first one so it's the less good one

And my favorite:

Triadic: three colors equal in distance on the color wheel, which just so happen to be red yellow and blue. Triadic is not my favorite but I love how I did the painting anyway so that's why it's my favorite.

EXCEPT ITS KINDA GORE? Kinda? Idk he's also shirtless (don't swoon yet) but the gore isn't actually gore cuz there's no blood it's just a picture representation of malnutrition and SOMEHOW THE HAIR IS AMAZING??? I confuse myself sometimes.

POINT BEING: this is a warning cuz it's not exactly a healthy depiction of Danny and it's actually something I drew in inspiration from my Danny Phantom fic and if anyone who reads it and this will know what I'm talking about.

Anyway, so this is a malnourished ghosti boi

You guys have no idea how long it took me to get any semblance of human skin, lemme tell ya the hair was the friggin eAsy paRt (And even that took 2 hours) don't get me started on his f ACe smh

I wanted to do a smol comic type Danny and recreate some scenes with Dick and Bruce (happy ones of course) but I failed in the smol department so instead I stuck to what I know and drew an angsty malnourished totally detailed Danny instead. Cuz lOgiC.

Maybe I'll try again some time, when I know how to do smol cute comic ppl. Whenever that'll be lol

ALSO AC READERS YOU DODGED A FRIGGIN BULLET I LOST A BIG CHUNK OF MY WRITING AND I NEARLY DIED BUT LUCKILY IT SAVED ON MY LAPTOP SO YEAH ITS BACK NOW AND I HAVE A PRETTY SIZABLE SCENE ABOUT HALF DONE SO UPDATE WILL BE SOONISH (next week if I'm feeling lucky, week after that if it takes longer) (current word count is 13,000+ but a lot of it is stuff Ima delete cuz the scene went in a totally new direction I didn't mean to take it but it's still cute so I'm trying to repurpose it) (so it's more like 10,000)
