An alibi

I am gonna find you, baby, because we've got an alibi.

Peter's POV-

Something didn't feel right the minute I had left (y/n). It was a feeling that gnawed at the pit of my stomach, never ready to subside. So, my instincts getting the better of me, I raced back to her house.

Horror struck me the moment I reached. Her front door was left widely ajar, the living room visible from three feet up the front walk. (y/n) never leaves her front door open, especially if she were alone.

Something was definitely not right and I wasn't going to rest unless I got to the depths of the matter.

Walking towards the house, I fished my phone from my jacket pocket and dialed up Mr.Stark.

"Hey Kid. What is it?" His weary voice sounded from the other end.

"Hello Mr.Stark. I just got (y/n) home from the Hospital, but her front door's left open and she isn't inside..." I trailed off the minute I stepped inside the house.

There were footprints lining the entrance and they led up to the kitchen. (y/n)'s footprints. That was not what caught me, however. The fact that the footprints were bloody was what made bile rise up in my throat.

"Peter? Everything alright, kid?" Mr.Stark's voice echoed through my head.

What was going on? Having Liam in the Hospital was worse enough and now (y/n) just suddenly disappears?!

Not disappears, Peter. (y/n)'s taken away and you know the guy whose behind all this very well.

And I wasn't planning on leaving him hanging in thin air for long.

"It's Mysterio again, Mr.Stark. He has taken (y/n). I'm meeting you in the Avengers' Towers in five," I hung up the phone, striding towards an empty alley.

I hadn't gone far into it when I felt a presence behind me: tantalizing, mysterious.

I whipped my body, a punch flying straight at their jaw, knocking them down to the dirty ground.

"Flash? What are you doing here?" I started as I came to stand above the fallen body, getting a clear view of their face.

"Pa-arker! What the actual fuck man?!" He groaned in pain, rubbing his jaw as he stood up.

I gave him a sheepish smile in response, guilt flooding me like water. On the contrary, I was glad to have punched Flash Thompson-who has been bullying me ever since primary-in the face.

"Why are you here?" He shot me a glare that I, gratefully, returned.

"Can ask you the same."

"I was planning on visiting (y/n). Heard that she'd been discharged. I was worried sick about her."

Right, because the only thing you want is to get in her pants.

"But then...I saw a weird guy flying in the air. He had (y/n) slung on his shoulder and she looked unconscious."

I looked up at him, suddenly on full alert.

"Say that again."

"A weird guy was flying with (y/n) on his shoulder."

"Do you know which way he flew?"

"Towards south, I think. Although, I am not even certain that that was (y/n). The sun was too bright and I didn't pay any heed," he shrugged his shoulders as if that was a normal view he experienced on a daily basis.

I ground my teeth, hands clenching and un-clenching  by my side. I took in a deep breath, released it in a huff, and shot my web at his arm.

"What the fuck dude?! Get me out of this!" He yelled, pulling at the web.

"Nothing's gonna get them off you, Flash. So I suggest you cooperate and come with me."

"Where?"

I put on my Spider-man suit, smirking at his mortified expression.

"Ever met Tony Stark?"

"This is such a cool place, Parker! How'd you afford to come here?" Flash smirked and nudged me with his elbow.

I just rolled my eyes at him, a quick remark on my tongue, but-

"It's because he's Spider-man." Mr.Stark.

Flash and I whipped our heads in the direction of the voice.

Tony Stark was standing atop the spiral staircase, a hardened expression swept over his face.

I nodded at him: a way of greeting.

"Is that Tony Stark?! Oh my fucking God! I'm standing in the same room as Tony Stark!" Flash exclaimed, excitement shone on his usually shitty face.

"If you don't mind, I'd like to speak with Peter for a minute", Mr. Stark glared at Flash, who simply nodded.

"Alone." His eyes locked with mine, a message conveyed and, without further delay, I walked upstairs to where he stood.

"Why did you bring that psycho kid with you?" He hissed, his hot breath fanning my face.

"He saw Mysterio carrying (y/n). I thought we could use him as an alibi. They went southward, he said," I took two steps back, scared of what Mr.Stark would do.

He sighed, looking  me dead in the eye, then glanced carelessly at Flash.

"Do what needs to be done, but get him out of this facility before I break your head."

I nodded wildly, sprinting downstairs towards where Flash stood. I grabbed him my the arm and yanked him out of the hall into the open grounds.

"What the fuck, Parker? You didn't even let me shake hands with Tony Stark!" Flash whined, releasing himself from my grip.

I turned to face him, anger radiating off of me. I had had enough of this shithead's crap today.

"First of all, you aren't the boss of me, Flash Thompson! Second of all, Mr.Stark would rather swallow up an entire ocean than shake hands with you! And lastly, you aren't gonna bark orders at me because I'm the one who brought you here!"

Silence fell between the two of us, my eyes locked on Flash's, daring him to say anything that could piss me off to the extent of gagging him.

He, however, didn't let my dream come true and kept his mouth shut.

I started walking back inside the Avengers' Tower.

"Where are you going, Parker?"

"To make a rescue plan for (y/n). If you care as much as you proclaim about her, then I suggest you wait here till I come out."

I waited for his argument, but nothing came out.

I didn't bother looking behind me as I entered the Tower.

Sorry for the late update guys! This chapter sucks and it took me a lot of pondering and three days' time to plan and write it down. Hope it's satisfying.
