Twenty-two

The next morning I woke up, and Jared slipped his arms around me and pulled me to his chest. Kissing his chest I slowly pulled myself up and went to make breakfast. Blueberry pancakes and bacon. The girls woke up and I went to get them. Jared walked out of our room smiling.
"I love you." He said.
"I love you too."
Finishing breakfast and cleaning the syrup off the girls we sat down as a family.
"Baby."  Callie said patting my stomach.
"What did you say Callie?"
"Baby." She said laughing.
"What's she talking about. She wants a baby brother." He said picking the girls up.
"I'm pregnant." I said smiling at him.
"You're pregnant. How far along?"
"Two months."
"I'm gonna be a father again." He asked as a tear slipped from his eye.
"Yes."

Two months later we found out we're having a boy. We decided on the name Colton Luca Stone. Six more months until we get to hold our little bean.
Callie and Caitlin were ecstatic. They picked the nursery color a light baby blue. When we move into our new house we are painting the room.
Jared insists that we get married before the baby. I want to wait so I don't look like a whale walking down the isle.  

I had picked a wedding dress a week ago with Chloe.

It was simple but elegant. I was planning on the girls being the flower girls.

We planned the wedding for the middle of January. Baby boy is due in November so two months until the wedding.
Jared is the sweetest he doesn't complain when I kicked him out of bed last week because I needed more room.
He took the girls on a daddy daughter date today and I'm at home cleaning the house.
Chloe came over an hour ago with Chinese food. We laughed and watched Gilmore Girls.

4 months later
November 25, 2019 Colton Luca Stone was born and Callie and Caitlyn were big sisters.
They loved their little brother.

A couple days later we could go home. We were home where we were a family.
My parents came to visit the kids. Jared's dad came by. His mom was still hell bent on hating me. I don't care anymore. I spent most of the first few weeks just staring at my baby boy.
The wedding was approaching. Two weeks away. I was ready to marry Jared.

The week before the wedding I got my nails done. I had my bachelorette party with Chloe.
Jared has his bachelors party. The next day we were getting married. I got my hair done and I was putting on my dress.

We were ready to get married.
The wedding was beautiful and when we married I smiled up at my husband.
We cut the cake and stuffed it in each other's faces. I threw the bouquet and Chloe caught it.
We kissed and had our first dance.
At the end of the night I walked over to Chloe and whispered.
"And to think I was his ex wife."
