Chapter 18

Hayes POV:

Nate, Nash, my mom, Skylynn, Lauren, Hannah's Dad, and I were all waiting for her surgery to be over with.

Then the doctor came out.

"I am afraid I have some bad news,"she said.

I started crying.

"I'm sorry, but Hannah didn't make it,"she said.

"WAIT!!! SHE DIED? NO NO,"Lauren cried.

"Yes and I'm very sorry,"she said.

"NO!! IT WAS YOUR JOB TO KEEP HER ALIVE. WE'RE PAYING YOU TO KEEP HER ALIVE!! BUT YOU DIDNT,"Lauren yelled at the nurse.

Nash then held Lauren and calmed her down.

I decided to talk to Hannah's dad.

"I'm so sorry sir,"I said to him.

"Thank you Hayes. I remember Hannah always talking about you and how much she liked you,"he said.

I smiled and went to see my mom.

"So is Hannah with the angels?"Skylynn asked.

"Yes she is,"I said tearing up.

"Bye Hannah. I'll miss you,"she waved to the air.

"I'll miss her too,"I said quietly.

"Hayes honey come here,"my mom said pulling me into a hug.

"I just can't believe she's gone,"I cried into her chest.

"Me either. But God decided it was her time,"she said.

"HAYES HAYES WAKE UP,"I hear.

I suddenly find myself in a hospital chair.

"I can't believe she's dead Nash,"I said.

"Who? Hannah? She's not dead. She's literally in the bed in front of you,"he said.

"Oh. I had a dream, and she died...."I said.

"Oh that's why you were screaming. I heard you screaming and I woke you up,"he said.

"SO SHES NOT DEAD,"I said excitedly.

"Nope,"Nash said.

Then I heard a sound come from Hannah's mouth.

"Hayes,"she said quietly.

"HANNAH,"I yelled and hugged her

Then I kissed her on the cheek and said,"I love you and I've missed you."

Then I pressed the nurse button to let her know she is awake.

Hannah's POV:

Hayes was hugging me.

Wait where am I?

"Hayes, where am I?"I asked.

"You're in the hospital because you got hit by a car,"he said.

"Oh,"I replied.

Then my dad and Lauren start hugging me.

"I'm so glad you're okay,"my dad and Lauren say.

"Me too I guess,"I replied.

Them the doctor came in and said,"She's doing fine, but we'll need to keep her over night just to be sure and then she can go home."

"Okay thanks,"my dad replied.

Then Hayes brought me flowers and a HUGE stuffed teddy bear!

Then from Nate I got a beautiful bracelet that says,"Hannah."
