*ashley's pov*

after my mum came over to me ruel's expression seemed to have dropped a little. he seemed out of it or daydreaming about something.

"you good" he said looking at me.

i realised i had zoned out and had been starring at him for like five minutes

"oh, um, im- im sorry if i made you uncomfortable i was daydreaming." i said slightly blushing

"its all good, ashley" he said with a goofy smirk forming on his face.

wait. how did he know my name. i didn't tell him...

*ruel's pov*

i started to think back to her mum coming over to her before. i remembered her saying 'omg ashley'

that must be her name. ashley. that makes sense because her phone case had an A on the back. i realised i had zoned out so i came back too reality to ashley staring in my direction.

i wondered if she knew who i was. like knew i was famous. i feel like she doesn't because not to be a douche but most girls talk about my career or try film me.

"you good" i said bringing her back into reality.

"oh, um, im- im sorry if i made you uncomfortable i was daydreaming." she said as her cute cheeks became rosey

"its all good, ashley" i said with a smile forming

her face became confused and low-key concerned. i felt bad and weird but surely she realised her mum said her name. she gave me a puzzled look before i said

"your mum called you ashley. i didn't mean to make you think im a stalker aha" i said awkwardly

she smiled then said "i did question that for a minute there. i was a little scared"

"so ashley where are you from" i said

"perth but im moving to sydney. what about you, ruel?"

"im from england but moved to sydney when i was little"

*ashley's pov*

i swear to god that emily said ruel van dijk is from england but moved to sydney. weird

"oh cool, wait how old are you" i said trying not to be stalker-ish

"17. u?"

"16 well 17 in two months. does that mean you go to school"

"i actually do online, its just more conveint"

wtf that's sooooo weird. I've only ever heard famous people do online. it must be the famous ruel then. shit how do i act now.

i see her facial expression slowly change. and then she awkwardly grabs her phone and sits back.

damn i wonder how she knows me. she probably won't talk to me now. there goes my chance at getting her number or socials...
