Chapter One- Grandma! Pt.1

'Both Charlie and Vaggie are currently waiting in the hotel lounge, both of them currently being nervous wrecks'

'Charlie had just put Ryker to bed, having learned he prefers to be in darkness she also attached a make shift lid to the crib'

'After he ate the night before Ryker had grown rather tired. As it turned out Ryker becomes even more docile after eating. Preferring to lay around or nap than his usual high energy antics'

'Ryker had also grown to trust Vaggie more. He now seems to view Vaggie the same way he views Charlie. However he does seem more playful around Vaggie'

'At the moment however both Vaggie and Charlie are awaiting the arrival of Charlie's parents'

'Charlie was particularly nervous given how little she has talked to her parents as of late'

'Her and her dad didnt exactly leave off of on the best of terms either. Her father didnt exactly believe in her cause'

'Infact he thought it was stupid. But he nonetheless tried to support her the best he could.it would seem a family oriented streak runs through the family'

'Her mother however had been much more supportive of Charlie's ideals. Despite the lack of communication they have had recently'

'Earlier in the day both Vaggie and Charlie went out shopping, both for groceries and for some clothes for Ryker. Instead of him wearing the ragged robe like clothes he has'

'Vaggie had dressed herself up the best she could, even though Charlie had made sure she knew that it wasnt nessecary'

'Both Charlie and Vaggie were knocked out of their thoughts by a loud knock at the door, practically giving Vaggie a heart attack'

'Charlie had rushed towards the door, Vaggie close behind her'

'Once Charlie grabs the door handle she feels herself freeze, causing Vaggie to take one of her hands into her own'

'Vaggie gives Charlie a reassuring smile before Charlie let's out a sigh, tightening her grip on the door'

'After another moment of hesitation Charlie opens the door'

'On the other side of the door stands a taller woman wearing a black dress with an overcoat, she has long blond hair and a set of horns, identical to Charlie's whenever she makes them appear'

'The women's cold expression quickly changes to a warm smile as she recognizes Charlie'

Charlie: "H-Hey mum" 'Charlie says nervously, only for her mother to wrap her in a tight hug'

Lilith: "Hello sweetheart" 'Lithith says pulling back from the hug'

Charlie: "Where's dad?" 'Charlie asks curiously noticing Lilith standing alone'

Lilith: "Your father apparently had buisness to attend too, though I dont buy that for a minute. But I figured I should still come for a visit" 'Lilith explains with a sigh'

Charlie: "Yeah, I didnt really expect him to come....anyway! Come in! Make yourself at home" 'Charlie says walking back into the hotel'

'Once inside Charlie stands dusting herself off, her mother closing the door snapping Charlie out of her daze'

Charlie: "Oh! This is Vaggie, she's my-"

Lilith: "Girlfriend?" 'Lilith asks with a small smirk visible on her face'

Charlie: "How did you know?" 'Charlie asks with a sigh. She had been hoping to tell her mum herself'

Lilith: "There isnt a lot that goes on in this city that me and your father dont know about dear. And you told me about her in one of the voicemails you left me" 'Lilith explains with a chuckle'

Vaggie: "She did?" 'Vaggie asks slightly surprised, having been expecting some form of ridicule from Lilith'

Lilith: "Oh of course! She actually told me quite about you throug them" 'Lilith explains causing Charlie's cheeks to flush a light pink color, her blush being masked by her naturally occurring one'

Charlie: "ANYWAY! What would you like to do?" 'Charlie asks loudly, earning a light chuckle from Vaggie'

Lilith: "I would like to see my grandchild!" 'Lilith says with an excited tone in her voice'

Charlie: "you heard about that too huh?"

Lilith: "Of course! Now where are they?" 'Lilith asks clapping her hands momentarily'

Vaggie: "I'll go get him" 'Vaggie says with a smile. Recognizing the similarities between Charlie and Lilith'

Lilith: "So how have you been doing?" 'Lilith asks curiously as she and Charlie sit down on the couch'

Charlie: "Oh I've been....I've been okay I guess. Things have been a little stressful but I can handle that" 'Charlie says with a light chuckle'

Lilith: "And how has being a parent been so far?" 'Lilith asks with a curious smile'

Charlie: "Actually.....its been great. Its stressful yeah but it's so worth it" 'Charlue says with a soft laugh'

Lilith: "Are they a little trouble maker?"

Charlie: "Yeah he can be sometimes. But he's such a softy, you're going to love him"

Lilith: "I'm sure I will"

'After a few more minutes of talking Vaggie comes around the doorway, Carrying Ryker as he slowly begins to wake up'

'Ryker is now dressed in a bright red hoodie and a pair of black sweat pants, somehow making him look more innocent'

Charlie: "Ooh! He's wearing the clothes we got him!" 'Charlie says excitedly standing up as she walks over to Vaggie, gaining a curious look from Lilith as she stands up'

'Once close enough Lilith finds Charlie holding Ryker as he shakes his head, a surprised look crossing the demon queen's face'

Charlie: "Mum, this is Ryker! Ryker this your grandma!" 'Charlie says causing Ryker to look up to Lilith, tilting his head curiously'

Lilith: "Is...that what I think it is?" 'Lilith asks in surpise'

Vaggie: "Yeah, he is infact a Hellspawn" 'Vaggie says as Ryker hops to the ground, stopping to look at Lilith'

'Very carefully Lilith crouches down to the ground patiently waiting for Ryker to approach her'

'Slowly but surely Ryker makes his way over to Lilith, seeming to examine her as he does so, his tail unwrapping from around his waist'

Lilith: "Its allright, I wont hurt you" 'Lilith says softly as Ryker jumps onto Lilith's lap'

'Ryker's eyes shine a Yellow light onto lilith for a moment before the light fades and he falls into a sitting position'

'Ryker tilts his head while letting out a curious hum, a small smile appearing on Lilith's face'

'Lilith stands up, gently picking Ryker up with her'

'Once in a comfortable position Ryker let's out a soft rumble, a "smile" forming on his face'

Lilith: "Oh my lord you are just adorable" 'Lilith says with a soft but clearly excited tone in her voice'
