The Smallest Hell spawn (A Hazbin Hotel Side Story)

Chapter Two- Another Evolution!

'Ryker had been asleep for nearly a day and a half now, after a brief food binge'

'The young hellspawn had gotten rather hungry for some reason, much more so than usual'

'However Charlie and Vaggie had grown accustomed to these random fits of hunger he occasionally went through'

'However Charlie decided it was time to wake him back up, figuring he had probably rested well enough'

'Opening the lid of Ryker's crib a soft smile crossed Charlie's face, looking down at her adoptive son'

Ryker was curled up in a wall wrapped in his blankets, holding his plush dragon against himself'

'Charlie then leans down gently tapping Ryker's forehead, this had become a way that both of them had grown accustomed to waking eachother up'

'With a light yawn Ryker stretches out, resting his head on his new plushie, his usual mouthless smile forming when he notices Charlie'

Charlie: "Goodmorning mister, have a good sleep ?" 'Charlie asks with a quiet tone, earning a light hum from Ryker as he tilts his head'

'As Ryker sits up rubbing his eyes Charlie notices somthing rather strange about him'

'On his back two large lumps had formed under his pajama shirt'

'Curiously Charlie sits Ryker up,  going through the usual routine of changing him into his daytime clothes'

'However once Charlie lifts up his shirt she gets a clear view of what the two lumps had been'

'On Ryker's back a pair of black wings had grown in. Each one being half the full size of himself'

'With a confused look Charlie gently lifts one of the wings up, unfolding it fully, showing it to have atleast a six foot wingspan'

'Ryker looks just as confused as Charlie does, however he clearly has a much more excited look about him'

Charlie: "Well arent you, just full of surprise" 'Charlie says lifting Ryker up, carrying him'

'Ryker let's out an excited hum, briefly flapping his new wings showing them to have a dull Yellow glow, earning a light smile from Charlie'

Charlie: "C'mon let's get your shirt fixed up for your wings. Then we shall go show mama!" 'Charlie says with a mock British accent'

'In the kitchen Vaggie is standing with a black apron on, having decided to get up early to make breakfast for her and Charlie, along with Ryker of course. However she seriously doubted he would be eating today'

'She was in a particularly good mood today, so she had gotten rather carried away with cooking'

'She had made what could be described as a five course meal. Entirely without realizing it'

'Whenever Vaggie was in a particularly good mood she always tended to listen to music along with whatever it was she was doing. Such as she is now'

'However Vaggie's attention is quickly brought to the doorway at the sound of knocking'

'Charlie had walked into the kitchen, holding Ryker in her arms as he hums loudly noticing Vaggie'

'Vaggie smiles softly before turning off the music, walking over to Charlie'

Charlie: "When did you get up?" 'Charlie asks with a chuckle, noticing the copious ammounts of food'

Vaggie: "Oh you know me. Always up around three usualy" 'Vaggie says walking upto Charlie, placing a kiss on her cheek before looking to Ryker'

Vaggie: "Now how is my favorite little man doing?" 'Vaggie asks with a smile, crouching down slightly'

'Ryker let's out an excited hum, unfurling his new set of wings. Flapping them gently, earning a look of surprise from Vaggie'

Vaggie: "When did this happen?" 'Vaggie asks with a light chuckle. Lifting Ryker up , causing him to lean into her'

Charlie: "When he was asleep apparently. I woke him up and he had a set of wings" 'Charlie says taking one wing in her hands, unfurling it to it's full length'

Vaggie: "Well. This is certainly new, but I was kind of expecting somthing like this to happen" 'Vaggie says curiously looking over Ryker's other wing'

'Ryker let's out a soft rumble, his yellow glow growing brighter'

Charlie: "Well someone's certainly happy about it" 'Charlie says with a light chuckle, poking Ryker's nose which in turn earns a light giggle from him'
