Chapter Three- Grandpa

Lilith: "There's my grandson!" 'Lilith says loudly, holding Ryker up infront of herself'

'Ryker lets out a light enthusiastic hum, his glow growing brighter'

Lilith: "Still not talking huh?" 'Lilith asks curiously'

Ryker: "I talk" 'Ryker says in confusion, tilting his head'

Charlie: "It's just easier for him to use his other ways of communicating. His vocal cords aren't like ours" 'Charlie says with a chuckle'

'The trio was on their way to the royal family's mansion, Lucifer wanted to speak to Charlie'

Lilith: "Oh i guess so, i just forget he's a hell spawn sometimes. He's such a gentleman after all" 'Lilith says with a smile, having sat Ryker onto her lap'

Lilith: "Oh! Speaking of. Have you learned any new abilities sweetie?" 'Lilith asks curiously'

'Ryker curiously looks at his hands before moving them as if he were holding a ball'

'Shortly after yellow arcs of electricity begin forming in-between his hands, slowly molding into a ball'

Lilith: "Oh that's incredible!" 'Lilith says in an excited but supportive tone'

Charlie: "Be careful remember it makes you tired" 'Charlie says warningly, earning a nod from Ryker as he disperses the ball of electricity'

'Ryker breifly shakes his head, sparks of electricity coming from his horns as he discharges what little bit he had stored up'

Lilith: "Today you get to meet your grandpa! He's been very busy but he's very excited to meet you!" 'Lilith says enthusiastically, earning a light excited hum from Ryker'

Charlie: "Any idea why dad want's to see me? It's been years since I've last talked to him" 'Charlie asks with a nervous chuckle'

Lilith: "Oh it's nothing bad sweetheart. Your father has actually been quite impressed with how long your hotel has stayed in business. He wants to ask you a few things regarding your living situation" "Lilith explains, forming a ball of reddish pink energy in front of Ryker'

Charlie: "Oh yaay" 'Charlie says with a low sigh'

'Charlie is met with a light plume of yellow fire being breathed in her face. It didn't burn, as usual'

Ryker: "No being sad!" 'Ryker says pointing at Charlie, earning a light smile from her'

Charlie: "You're right bud, no being sad" 'Charlie says in agreement, poking Ryker's nose'

'Ryker lets out a light huff, a brief plume of steam coming from his nose as Lilith sits in light surprise'

Lilith: "Sometimes I forget he's practically a living dragon. just a lot smaller" 'Lilith says earning a light hum from Ryker as he looks up at Lilith'

Charlie: "And a lot cuter too" 'Charlie adds as Ryker unfurls his wings, flapping them momentarily'

Lilith: "Well you should enjoy this while you can. pretty soon he's going to start growing pretty quick" 'Lilith says earning a nod from Charlie'

Charlie: "Yep, that's why we moved him into the basement area. it's big and open" 'Charlie says taking Ryker from her mother'

Lilith: "Speaking of which, when do you intend to send him to school? both of the ones I run are still open" 'Lilith says earning a hum from Charlie'

Charlie: "Actually, me and Vaggie were thinking of keeping him homeschooled until high school" 'Charlie says earning a nod from Lilith'

Lilith: "Well, I'm looking forward to that. however if you need help with homeschooling I would be more than happy to help" 'Lilith says supportively as the Limousine comes to a stop, catching both her and Charlie's attention'

Lilith: "Well, lets go see your father shall we?" 'Lilith asks curiously, earning a nervous nod of agreement from Charlie'

'Charlie follows her mother hesitantly into the mansion, holding Ryker closely to herself as she passes by a set of old family portraits' 

'Lilith waits at a large double door, giving Charlie a reassuring smile before turning to her'

Lilith: "Allright, he's inside the study. just remember that he isn't angry with you. he may have been when you started your hotel but he's over it" 'Lilith explains earning a nod from Charlie'

'Charlie jumps momentarily as Ryker softly jumps to the ground, standing upright after a moment of struggling to do so'  

 'Ryker softly grabs Charlie's left hand with both of his own, letting out a soft hum as he looks up at his mother'

'Charlie lets a light smile cross her face, Ryker could probably feel just how on edge she was and was trying to comfort her, as usual his telepathic abilities seemed to do just that'

Charlie: "Okay, lets go say hi" 'Charlie says with a newfound resolve coming over her'

'Lilith watches with a proud expression on her face as Charlie opens the study doors, Ryker following closely behind her'

'Once in the study Charlie closes the door behind her as she faces her father's desk'

'At the desk Lucifer could be seen looking at something on his computer monitor, a frustrated look on his face as he clicks the mouse furiously before leaning back in his chair, a light growl coming from him'

'Lucifer glares at his monitor for a second before he notices Charlie, a grin crossing his face as he stands up, showing off his dagger like teeth'

Lucifer: "Charlie it is good to see you!" 'Lucifer says walking around his desk'

Charlie: "H-Hey dad..." 'Charlie says nervously earning a slightly guilty look from her father'

Lucifer: "I'm glad you came here. I wanted to....apologize for how I acted when you left. it was wrong for me to be so callous" 'Lucifer says in an understanding tone, lightly struggling to apologize'

'Before either Charlie or Lucifer can continue Ryker peeks his head out from behind his mother, tilting his curiously as he looks at Lucifer'

Lucifer: "Is this-"

Charlie: "Yep, this is Ryker. I'm a little surprised mom didn't introduce you yet when he's here" 'Charlie says as Lucifer crouches down as Ryker moves onto his hands and feet' 

'Ryker cautiously crawls closer to Lucifer, shining a glowing yellow light on him as he "Scans" Lucifer'

'Lucifer moves his hand towards Ryker slowly causing the young hell spawn to crouch lower to the ground, unfurling his wings as he moves his tail into a striking position, the blade on the end now being unsheathed'

Charlie: "Don't try to go to him. he's a little bit skittish as of late" 'Charlie says protectively, causing Lucifer to slowly move away his hand which in turn causes Ryker to return to a more docile state'

'Ryker returns his tail back to being wrapped around his waist, letting his wings relax as he continues to "Scan" Lucifer, curiously walking around him'

'Upon moving to the front of Lucifer Ryker shakes his head lightly. a light rumble coming from him as he sits infront of the current ruler of hell'

Lucifer: "Why Hel-"

'Lucifer is cut off by Ryker blowing a plume of yellow flame into his face. catching his hat on fire. a light giggle coming from the young hell spawn'

'Charlie sits in light worry as the smoke clears, showing Lucifer's smile to be much wider than before'

Lucifer: "I like him" 'Lucifer says in a blunt tone, picking Ryker up as he turns to Charlie. now standing up'

Charlie: "Yeah, that's the usual response we get from people" 'Charlie says with a light chuckle, clearly relieved that things have gone well thus far'

Charlie: "So, Mom said you wanted to talk to me about something ?" 'Charlie asks curiously, earning a lightly excited look from Lucifer'

Lucifer: "Yes actually! I would like to ask you something quite important" 'Lucifer says with a wide grin, as if he had hoped Charlie would ask'
