Chapter 7: confession and taking in a daughter

A/n: hello my fellow readers sorry for not updating this story in awhile but here is the chapter also I'm planning on doing a Miraculous Ladybug story but I'm not sure to make it a harem story or where the reader has only one love interest so please let me know in the comments about it and let the chapter begin

Maria's pov

as I was in the library reading up on my studies like always but this time my friend Aoi is with me as I was reading I have my favorite story about the demon knight Sparda it's one of my favorites as I was reading through the mathematics but I couldn't think straight as I remembered the mother and father back at the store with their kid and the look that Y/n gave me as that made think of him like a father

Maria: well the man spend some time with me which made me happy and he had a fatherly vibe when keeping me company

as we kept talking and studying a couple of the other girls in Grandfather's company came in the library making me and Aoi confused

Maria: what are you two here for?

girl1: father would like to see you two for a special assignment

this gives us skeptical looks to which we followed them to my grandfather's office whitch was not too much of a walk there once we reached the doors the two girls told us to enter as they left we entered the room to see grandfather and Nora there we approach the two as stop just at the front desk

Maria: what can we do for you grandfather?

Tatsuoki: ah dear Maria it's good to see you again well as you know I have a special assignment for you and your friend

Aoi: what is the assignment father?

Tatsuoki: well there is a special target that I want you two to go after and bring the target either dead or alive. alive being the more likely if possible

Tatsuoki: well that can be fixed you two will be using the newly improved cloneblade but not just one you two will be the first of the Neogene sisters to be able to wield two cloneblades
