Ein's POV
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock like every other day.
I got up, got ready for class and I decided to wear the brown sweater instead of my usual blue hoodie or black jacket.
Our day went on. We had classes, turned in a few assignments, got assigned a few assignments, Blaze and I had lunch together, I played a bit of frisbee with the pack, and luckily didn't have work on Fridays.
5pm rolled around and we started getting ready. He changed into his suit and I changed into mine.
"You excited for the meetup?" Blaze asked me as we stood beside eachother infront of the mirror, fixing ourselves up.
"I am far from excited actually....I'm really anxious about how this'll go..." I admitted, buttoning my vest and fixing my polo.
Blaze grabbed me by the hand and made me look him in the eyes.
"You'll be fine. They've probably moved on by now...Trust me Blueberry." He said to me with care in his eyes.
He sparked a smile on my face and kissed me on the lips. "Thanks babe....I needed that.." I said and thanked him.
I grabbed my wallet, keys, phone, and ID as Blaze grabbed his stuff too. We locked the dorm up and we headed out of the campus now too.
Blaze's POV
As I was driving to the hotel I noticed how Ein's hands kept shaking. I placed my right hand on his and kept my other on the wheel. He looked at me and smiled sweetly.
I blushed from how adorable he was.

We got to the hotel and I found a good parking spot in the basement parking lot. We got out and went into the hotel.
We came into the lobby where a few people were. "We're with a group of friends of ours. Aphmau has made a reservation here right?" I asked the receptionist.
"Oh, you're one of her friends. She's invited quite a few. You guys have the whole ballroom on the 12th floor of the bulding. I hope you have a great night sir!" The lady said and pointed us to the elevator.
Once Ein and I got onto the elevator I began to blush a bit. "You look...really handsome tonight.." I mumbled to Ein, causing a smile on his face.
"And as do you, dork." Blue said holding my hand as the elevator went up.
We finally got up to the 12th floor and got off the elevator. I started walking towards the two doors with the sign "Ballroom" beside them. Then I realized that Ein let go of my hand.
"Ein...?"
"I can't do it Blaze. I just...I don't want them to hate me again...from what I hear inside they're having a great time..I don't wanna ruin all of that for them.." Ein whimpered, tears beginning to fill his eyes.
I walked over to him as he continued. "I was an asshole, Blaze! A narcissistic jerk! I hurt so many of them when I was alpha...and I still don't forgive myself...I don't blame them if they don't either..." Ein cried as I held him in my arms.
"..Ein..." I sighed as I pat his back. "That all happened in the past..its their loss to miss out on what a great person you are now....Leave their opinions out of all of this...
..I hate seeing you cry so instead....will you have this dance with me..?" I said with a caring smile on my face.
Ein looked up at me holding my hand out to him as the loud music from the ballroom started playing.
Ein's POV
I wiped my tears and laughed a bit to myself. "You dork..."
I took his hand and placed mine on his shoulders, his warm embrace calmed me like nothing has before...
The song went on and I enjoyed being like this with Blaze. He smiled. "You suck at dancing." I said to him as my eyes locked with his.
"Well atleast I'm dancing with the most beautiful angel in the party.." He whispered and smirked.
I blushed. "Idiot." I said and playfully punched him in the shoulder.
The song ended and we sat on a sofa outside of the ballroom. "You wanna go in now..?" Blaze asked with a reassuring smile.
"If you go with me that is.."
He took my hand and held it tight. I took a deep breath in and out then we opened the doors and was greeted by many old faces in the ballroom.
