Hi everyone!
I just love the part of the game when they "conquer" Chateau d'Ombrage. The place is very complex and well planned by the developpers and just the dialogs between Melie and Amcia are golden.

When they finally exit the underground path, they saw an enormous castle.
"Chateau d'Ombrage. " Amicia announced
"Wow" Melie's jaw dropped. She's never seen anything like this. She glanced at the other three and they seemed as stunned as she. However, Lucas was having a time of his life.
"That's the sort of alchemist legend I like! Think about all of that sweet alchemy equipment! Maybe we'll find a steel distiller! " he continued to fanboy about that place.
And again...Melie was seeking for the path.

The path was all slippery from the thick rain and they found a few rat groups on their way but they finally managed to get to the castle gates safely.
"Amazing! " Lucas said with excitement and as they got through the old gate, he started describing the details of the architecture.
But Melie's enthusiasm faded away as soon they got near the courtyard. She heard them. Thousands of squeaking noises coming from that direction.
"Rats! " Hugo cried
"If we want to stay here we need to get rid of them. " Amicia said examining the place.
"Lucas" she turned to her friend "Take Hugo and hide from the rain. Me and Melie will take care of them. "
"Let's show those fuckers who is the boss in here! " the red-haired girl said rolling up her sleeves.

The girl started using braziers to push the rats to the deep pits.
"And so..." Amicia said while pushing one of the obstacles "Amicia the Amazon...and Melie the Stealthy...conquered the Chateau d'Ombrage! "
"Heh! You've read to many books. " Melie replied but deep inside she liked that the girl tried to make their quest more exciting.

Melie was exhausted but to her relief, she noticed that more than half of the courtyard was free from rats.
"Don't worry milady! In a few minutes, the castle will be yours! " Melie said pulling another mechanism so the other girl could get through the courtyard.
"Ours! " Amicia shouted back "Imagine, we could live here together! "
"Emm...I'm more of a cellar girl, you know! "
"It's a big castle! We'll find a nice cellar for you to live in! " Amicia replied
These words put a smile on the red-haired girl's freckled face.
"Such a stubborn..." Melie thought but to keep on the mask she replied "You should really stop daydreaming."

When they were getting rid of the last group of rats, Melie shouted "Come on! Back off you bastards! Retreat before Amicia the Amazon and Melie the Fury!"
"Yeah! " Amicia cheered.

Not long after the courtyard was all clear. The girls came up to the rat's pit.
"This is how you conquer a castle! " Amica laughed
"This is show you get sick. " Melie mumbled pointing at their wet cloaths.
"Oh c'mon" Amicia elbowed her playfully "Don't be so grumpy! We did it! "
Melie rolled her eyes and sighed "Ooook...And here they are!" She pointed at the pit "Thousands of filthy bastards who thought they could defeat two finest warriors of these lands- Amicia the Amazon..."
"And Melie The Fury!" Amicia finished and they both started laughing.
"You were absolutely amazing! " Amicia clapped
"Thank you, Milady! " Melie giggled and bowed
"Let's finish celebrating our victory inside, shall we? "
"Yeah, just one second. " Melie said and approached the pit even closer. She wanted to take a closer look at the rats and enjoy how helpless and terrified they looked at that moment.
She grinned and put a middle finger up.
"Take that you fuckers-"
Suddenly her foot slipped on a wet rock. With horror in her eyes, the girl realized she was about to fall into the pit. She closed her eyes and waited for the end to come...but it didn't.
She felt that something grabbed her waist. It was Amicia!
The girl pulled Melie up and without loosening her grip aksed
"Are you alright?!"
"Y-Yes...I think so..." Melie whispered, still shocked about what just happened.
"Oh dear god! " Amicia had tears in her eyes "If you fell there, I would...I don't know what I would do without you! "
To Melie's big surprise, Amica hugged her tightly.
"Don't worry I'm ok. " She stroked her back gently "You saved me, Amicia. "
Then the noble girl moved back. Melie could swear she noticed a blush on her face.
"Just...use your head more often. " Amicia cleared her throat
"Yeah...Sure. " Melie scratched her neck.

They waited for the boys and together entered the tower. Lucas used some chemical reagents to quickly set a fire in an old, big fireplace.
They were too exhausted to start exploring the castle so they just sat down and enjoyed the warmth of the fire in complete silence.
Melie glanced at Amicia who was sitting at her right. The soft profile of the girl didn't match with that horrible world she lived in.
Then she remembered the weird but pleasant sensation that she was feeling while talking to Amicia...and her firm grip when she saved her from the fall...and her big blue eyes...full red lips...
Then an idea came to her mind.
"Ehhh...Why not." Melie thought "I'm not feeling like doing anything rational this night, anyway."
She took a deep breath and slowly put her hand on Amicia's.
The girl seemed surprised but didn't take away the hand.
A few moments later Amicia put her head on Melie's shoulder. They stayed like that for a long time, enjoying the warmth...and each other's company.
