I woke up to my alarm clock I slammed it so it would stop I went downstairs to make sure my parents weren't home I could still smell the alcohol and the cigarettes that's still lingered I went upstairs and I remembered I was picking up Eddie because I was taking him to school

we all walked in and found our lockers and we put our stuff in our lockers me and Eddies locker were quite a ways away Eddies was upstairs and I was down I went upstairs to go find Eddie and I found him I asked him what class he had

I have art too

I wanted to give Eddie the biggest hug and celebrate that we have our first class together but I kept it in The bell rang which means the hallways were empty so Eddie held my hand to art I didn't even know why he was holding my hand but he was I want to jump up and scream that today was going to be a great day with my Eddie spaghetti before we got to art I asked Eddie if you want to go get ice cream

Hey Ed's after school do you want to get ice cream with me

Richie don't call Ed's and of course I'd love to get ice cream with you The losers are coming right

Oh yeah sure

Great it's going to be an amazing bonding experience Eddie giggled

I love when he giggled it was like music to my ears Eddie let go of my hand and we went to the art class
