Chapter 25

Third Person P.O.V

it's been two days since William killed king, but he couldn't get why would Athena still cry over him? What did she saw in him? he was a heartless monster.

William had enough being patient with her, She hasn't eaten nor drank anything which made him twice mad

" till when will you keep crying?!" William asked really annoyed by Athena's act

Athena, on the other hand, didn't reply at all, he brought his gun out as he pointed it at Athena's head

" you gonna stop crying and eat or else I will kill you now" still Athena didn't even flinch at his threat, William was impressed for real, she was really fearless and brave. He could slowly understand why king chose her in all the people in this world.

" you think I am scared of you? Or to be killed by you? The only reason I am not fighting back is because I think that you are too dirty for me to even look at... but don't worry, I have a feeling death is coming for you and it is too damn soon" she said angrily, but William was furious by what he just heard

" you little bitch! shut up" he said slapping her hard on her cheek, but not with his hand but with the gun in his hand, making her pass out immediately.

He wanted to say something else but couldn't because the door shot open.

" boss! we are in trouble " Jack said, the panic was clear from his voice, it looks like he just saw a ghost.

" what? What is it?" William asked annoyed.

" t-the mansion is surrounded by men and they are attacking us! they are too much for us to handle! they might come in any minute!" He said, sounding scared to death

" what?? Who in their right mind, would attack us?!" William asked, now he also sounded scared

" King!!" Jack said the most feared mafia boss name, and they heard gunshots are getting closer.

William didn't know how to react.

" We must get to the rooftop of the mansion and get away by helicopter quickly, till our men can hold them back," Jack said William nodded before throwing Athena over his shoulder as he started to run with Jack towards the rooftop

" boss why are you taking her with us?? It will only slow us down!" Jack asked, making William wanting to facepalm himself at his stupid right-hand man

" you stupid! if King is really alive, she is the only key to get us out of here alive!" He said

" you are right i am sorry"

They both got to the rooftop, but before they could reach the helicopter, they were stopped

" you both stop exactly where you are, if you don't want to be showered by bullets" they heard a very familiar voice, but not king's voice, it was his left-hand, Adam,

They slowly turned around and they paled at seeing king standing there alive. Just looking at him was enough to send a shiver down the spine in fear.

Unlike always, that he has his blank expression on, this time he showed his emotion clearly and it was pure anger.

King was furious, seeing his love over the shoulder of a man, he hates the most in this entire world. His hate grew so much stronger, that he wanted to just skin them alive before make them bleed to death and drink their blood right in front of their eyes. L

William was quick to point his gun at the unconscious Athena that was over his shoulder

" you come closer and she is dead" Adam and Thomas looked over to King who smirked at William's comment.

" don't be stupid now. We both know if anything is to happen to her, killing you will be the last thing in my torture list " King said not even bother to raise his voice, making William and Jack scared to death.

" but she will be dead by then, right? See, let's do it like this. let me get into the helicopter and get out of here safely and I will leave her here" King looked around for a minute before replying.

" cool like it, but I will only let one of you out of here," King said

William looked over to Jack

" sorry Jack you were loyal to me, but this is do or die situation," William said before shooting Jack right in the head, as Jack's lifeless body hit the ground Adam and Thomas couldn't help but watch in disgust,

How can a man be so heartless?

" cool, now, leave Athena where you are and you can go, I promise none of my men will be allowed to harm you. you can leave " William smiled thinking of the victory he got.

He knew more clearly than anything, even if King hates him to bones, he is known for keeping his words under any circumstances.

So without wasting time he left Athena right where he was before quickly getting into the helicopter. Turning it on and it slowly started to fly.

after the helicopter flew from the roof, King made his way towards the edge of the rooftop, before pointing his gun at the helicopter and shooting the helicopter three times.

He knew that was enough for making it explode

" stupid man, think clearly of what i just said. None of my men will hurt you, because that pleasure is only mine." he then turned his back at the helicopter as he started making his way towards his love. He heard a big exploding sound from the helicopter, but he didn't bother to look back.

As he got in front of his love he kneeled down beside her, taking her in his arms and stared at her face.

The sight in front of him was enough to make his heart ache, his love face looked sore as if she has been crying for a long time, she even looked skinnier than she was before,  but what makes his heart ache the most was the cut on her cheek, it was a fresh cut and it was still bleeding.

They have been hurting her

" Adam! Find Williams dead pieces and burn them all to ashes" King ordered angrily

" yes, King," Adam said before leaving that creepy place quickly, after all, when king is angry, nothing good comes with it.

" King lets get queen out of her, she needs to get checked up by the doctor," Thomas said as he touched king's shoulder from behind. King nodded carrying Athena bridal style and made his way out of that damn place

" you will be fine love, I promise " king whispered to Athena even though she can't hear him right now.

king got into his car but he sat in the backseat so he can still pay attention to his love while His driver started to drive.

All the way back to his new home, he couldn't help but to stare at her.

She must be really weak not to wake up till now, otherwise, she would have been awake since she is a really strong girl.

As soon as the driver stopped, he got out of the car carefully with Athena still in his arms.

he got inside starting to make his way towards his room. He knew the doctor will be here any seconds from now.

he lied her down softly and just as he did, he heard a knock from the door.

" come in" King gave permission, knowing well it is the doctor

" Hello, Mr. King " King only nodded in response as he backed away a little to give the doctor enough space to check on his love. After a few minutes of checking her plus he finally spoke again.

" Mr. king I highly recommend if we could take her to the hospital " Doctor said as he backed away

" what? why? Is there something wrong " the doctor's face looked like he was hesitating to reply which make king even more nervous.

What could be wrong with Athena ..?
