APOLOGIES

"She's no-where on Campus," Evie and Mal walk into the dorm as Rain and Uma are on Audrey's bed, Uma sat up the right way and Rain at the end draped sideways.

"I found her diary," Uma waves it to the girls then kicks Rain gently, looking down at her "and dang did you ruin Audrey's life," she laughs

"Okay, did you find anything we don't already know, or...?" Rain asks impatiently

"She's bunked down at Fairy cottage," she then addresses Mal "y'know, where Flora, Fauna and Merriweather her mom hid from your mom,"

"The irony is not lost on us," Mal says bluntly

"How could anyone with this bed be unhappy?" Uma lays back and puts her shoes on Rain's stomach

"Ow!"

"Okay, how do I look?" Celia asks with Audrey's jewellery draped over her

"Fabulous," Rain winks, resting her head on her elbow and Celia giggles

"Okay, the bling stays here," Evie instructs

"But she's bad!"

"And we're not," Celia looks to Rain for help

"Evie's right C," she sighs and takes it all off.

"We need to find Ben," Rain mutters as they walk up to Evie's castle

"We will," Evie puts a hand on her shoulder comfortingly

"Nice digs," Uma comments on the exterior

"I got a really good deal,"

They get into the house, and in the main living room is Dizzy, Squeaky and Squirmy asleep on the sofa, Lizzie asleep on an armchair. Dizzy is clearly having a bad dream so Celia goes over and calms her, she then puts a red blanket over her. Rain still hears discomfort and realises Lizzie is having a nightmare as well, Rain walks over and strokes her hair.

"Shh, you're okay, you're safe," Rain hears Celia say something but it doesn't process, Rain feels Mal's eyes on both her and Celia comforting the other VK's "Uma, pass that," Rain points to a blue blanket in a basket and Uma passes it to her with no complaints "Thanks," Rain then drapes it over Lizzie and gives her a gentle kiss on the forehead and she instantly calms "You'll be okay,".

Loud snoring comes from Evie's workshop/study and all but Celia go there.

"Uh, who's the dude?" Uma asks and Rain walks in after Evie

"Doug," she runs forward and starts to gently shake him "Dough! Wake up,"

"He's spelled," Uma tells her when everyone gets tired of her doing it "Is she not a fast learner?" she asks Rain.

"She's emotionally involved, okay?"

"Well then she should be able to wake him up," Evie looks at her cluelessly and both Rain and Uma sigh

"True loves kiss," Rain smiles sarcastically at her

"Works every time," Uma finishes

"Well, we haven't actually used the L word yet," Mal, Rain and Uma all sigh and Rain leans her head back but ends up hitting the wall.

"Ow!"

"Can we be alone?" Evie asks and Rain nods, as Mal and Uma lead the way back. When they hear Evie start singing and going to do it, they quickly go and lurk in the hallway, Rain between Mal and Uma, occasionally leaning on one, or both of them for support or to see properly.
