"If they chose you as well then it's not an accident" Toshi said
"But it is and you know it, you have no idea how guilty I felt when I inherited One for All, I already have a quirk, and it was a good one too, just a simple super strength, but now with me holding One for All my super strength went up the bars"
"But isn't that good"
"No, I was just fine with my quirk, I sometimes wonder why they chose me as well, it was an accident yet they let me keep the quirk along with you, but what keeps bothering me is.... why me, what's so special about me"
"Maybe they believe that you deserve it as well"
"I don't know, I just wish Nana was here"
"Me too" I sighed out closing my eyes letting the wind flow through my hair
"Aren't we supposed to give the medals to the kids" I said
"Oh shit" I put my mask back on and Toshi went in his hero form, we quickly get up and we heard them say our hero names, we both jump down with a huge thud and the dust clears to reveal us
The crowd went wild as they saw us, we waved at the crowd as well as the kids, we then turn around to see the top three and my soul left my body when I saw Katsuki tied to a cinderblock "what the hell..." I mutter, Midnight gave the medals to Toshi, I felt as though Toshi should do the honors of giving the medals to the kids, I see him talk to them as he put the medals on there neck
But when it was Katsuki's turn he didn't want it, I grabbed the medal from Toshi's hand and stood in front of Katsuki "take the damn medal Katsuki"
"I don't want it!"
"Just take it! Your embarrassing yourself dammit!" I tried to put it on but he refused "for god sake" I wrapped my arm around his head and put the medal on him "you see, it looks good on you" I said squishing his cheeks
"Well they where the winners this time, but listen here, anyone here could have ended up on the podiums, it's just as you saw. Competing! Improving each other! And climbing even further! The next generation of heroes is definitely spouting! So I have just one more thing to say! Everyone, please say it with me! Ready, go! Thanks for your hard work!"
"Plus Ultra!!" we all became silent, I then slapped him on the head for the dumb mistake
Wave of laughter erupted when I did that, after that we all left, I waited for everyone to leave, that's when I made my way towards the gate, with Boots in my hands, I wasn't in my hero suit so Hitoshi looked at me confused
"Can I help you" he asked
"It's me Hitoshi, [h/n]"
"O-oh, sorry, is that your kitten"
"Yeah, wanna hold him" he nodded his head quickly "and It's okay, it's one of the reasons why I wear a mask, so people don't recognize me when I'm in public trying to be a normal person, anyways come with me" I took him to the beach where it was empty since the sun was setting, I sat down and patted the spot next to me
"So what did you want to talk about"
"Hitoshi, I came here to explain my quirk"
"Go on"
"My quirk isn't what you think it is, I originally had super strength, I was fine with that, but then I was in a accident, that's when I got One for All"

"It's a quirk that enhances your strength by percentages, it can be pass down to people..." Hitoshi looks at me with wide eyes "and I want to pass it down to you Hitoshi"
"Wh-what?"
"Hitoshi the way you wanted to be a hero and not letting anyone put you down led me to realize that your worthy of having it, I believe your perfect because you believe you can be a hero, even though people said otherwise, you looked straight to your goal, and when you said all those things back there it opened my eyes, you taught me things that I didn't even know, how people felt about there quirks, how some people have to be discriminated just because people's quirk seem villainous, I want people to know just because people's quirk seems villainous doesn't mean they are villainous, and you can show them that Hitoshi, show them that your a hero, that you fight for people because your heart desires to be a hero" I got up on my feet and put a hand out "so show them! Show them what you have Hitoshi Shinsou!" he took my hand
He had a smile as tears flow out "I'll show them [h/n], I'll show them what it takes to be a hero!"
"That's what I like to hear! Your training begins tomorrow, if you want to inherit One for All you have to gain some muscles, your all squishy" I said poking his gut "but I'll get you in tip top shape in a few months"
"Thank you [h/n]"
"Call me [y/n], here's my number Hitoshi, after school we'll meet here to begin your training, I'll be bringing weights, were also gonna practice balance, so I hope your good at that" I gave him my number and left
"Wait your cat!"
"Oh crap!" I ran back and grabbed him "thanks for reminding me, if I was you I would have ran off with him"
"I was contemplating if I should, but after what your doing for me I decided to be a good person and actually give him back to you"
"See where already alike, stealing cats from people"
"Not the best thing to have in common" we both started laughing and we finally parted ways
