You've seen what he's been through, you want help but he just pushes you away

You've opened your house up to him so many times you lost count, but each time he refuses your offer
But it didn't stop you from helping him...
I bought a couple toys, candy, and clothes to give to the little girl, making my way to the hospital I asked which room and made my way there
Peeking inside I see her staring at the window before looking at me "hey, feeling any better"
"A little" she mumbled
"Better than nothing, I bought you some things" I held some bags out placing it on the bed for her to look through, as she did something caught her eye
"... I like this stuff bunny, thank you"
"No problem, I'm glad you like it, so... you don't mind if ask what kind of movies you like, or maybe cartoons or food, I can get you some if you want"
"I don't remember, it's been a long time since I did those kinds of things... or ate a home cooked meal"
'My heart.... my heart is failing on me right now'
"Well where gonna make new memories! I'll bring the best food and pastries!" I went near the door and stood outside "I'll be back" then I closed the door and ran
It took about twenty minutes but I managed to buy some of my favorite pastry's, food, and I brought my laptop before coming back to the hospital "I'm baaaack~!" I sat beside her placing the things down "I brought... a lot of things now that I see it, but that means you get to try out a lot of new things, now, let's watch a movie while binge eating alrighty"
"O-okay" grabbing my laptop I put it on the bed and went on Netflix going into the kids section
"So what movie catches your eye" she looked through it and pointed at the movie 'Pocahontas' "Oohhh that's a good one" clicking on it we began to watch it
"She's pretty" she softly said
"Did you know that you look really pretty too" she became shy and hid her face "awww don't be shy"
"N-no one ever said I was pretty"
'My heart....' I clutched my chest 'don't fail on me now' hearing the door open I look to my side
"Hey guys, how've you been holding up" looking at Mirio, Hitoshi, and Izuku I can tell they where very much effected by Sir Nighteye
"Good, we just wanted to see Eri" looking at the time I noticed that I had to leave since my parents are busy and Nana is still there
"Well I guess we'll switch, hope you feel better Eri, Hitoshi be home by eight at least" getting up I hugged the three kiddos before leaving out the door with some of my stuff
Getting into the drivers seat I put my head on the steering wheel 'those poor kids'
Taking in a deep breath I looked up and pulled out of the parking lot driving away, I stopped by my moms house to pick up Nana and quickly went back home
Placing her carrier I picked her up and went back to my room, I placed her in the crib and grabbed a pillow before screaming into it, that's when Shouta came in and looked at me
"You okay-"
"Goddammit! When everything seems to be going fine something bad happens" Aizawa makes his way towards me hugging my side "I just want to shield the kids from everything that's horrible in this world"
"You know you can't do that"
"I know, and that's what makes me feel so miserable, kids at that age seeing and experiencing something traumatic, I don't know how to feel"
"Well that is what to be expected when you become a hero-"
"Seeing someone die!? How is- what is- why!? Why does a kid have to see a person die-"
"When you join the hero course you are putting your life at risk, they know what there getting into"
"But it's just not right!"
"They learn-"
"Oh so they learn from a guy dying! Great how wonderful!"
"No one can control who lives and who dies! When you become a hero it is to be expected that there is a possibility you will die, you know what you get yourself into when you want to become a hero, we all know how it feels to lose someone-"
"Don't say it"
"The world isn't sunshine's and rainbows, no matter how hard you try you can't protect everyone, there will be death at every goddamn corner! You can't save everyone! Like you couldn't save OBORO!"
I can see the regret flash over his eyes after saying that
"[y-y/n] I didn't mean to say that-"
"No I get it... I should just give up"
"Nono, don't say that-"
"But I didn't say it... you did" I get up from the bed and stopped at the door frame "it's your turn to take care of Nana... I'm gonna go and take time for myself"
"[y/n] please wait, I didn't mean to say it-"
"Oh but you did, now your gonna have to live with it" I took the car keys before heading out
As I stopped at a red light I broke down
'Fucking asshole why did he have to bring Oboro into this!? How could he!?'
I was waiting for the lights to be green when a big bang was heard, with screaming coming right after, I turn my head and see these giant creature things again, those Nomu's I think they where called, I can see them holding people hostage
A/N: I'm baaaaack sorry I took forever but that's because I went to a new school and it was HORRENDOUS! I did eventually transfer back to my old school but it did take awhile
I hated that school so much I only attended eleven days before they kicked me out ✋🏽😭
