"Laina! Have you seen Chloe's medicine cabinet?" Daphne ask as she frustratedly looks through the kitchen cabinets
"No, it must be upstairs" She replies while putting the washed kitchen utensils away
"It's ok Daph, I'll look for it myself" Chloe says getting up from her seat, but Daphne stops her
"HALT! YOU SHALL NOT MOVE FROM THAT SEAT!" Haley chimes in
"Ok guys! Just because I worked a little too much, doesn't mean you have to do everything for me while I sit down and rest"
"YES WE DO!" The 4 girls say in sync
"Will you at least let me walk upstairs on my own?" Chloe gets up from her seat and starts to walks out of the kitchen
"Just remember that we will always care for you Chloe!" The oldest yells as Chloe makes her way upstairs
Unfortunately she stops at the bottom of the steps before even getting the chance to go any further up.
Chloe felt a sharp pain in her heart, making her fall on the ground with a loud thud
"Chloe?" Zoey ask as she peeks through the kitchen doorway
"Girls! Shhhh!" Daphne says as she looks at her older sister in concern "Chloe?"
That was the last word Chloe heard before she completely collapse on the floor. Cold, like a completely lifeless body
The world suddenly became slow. As the 4 girls watch their 2nd eldest on the floor.
"CHLOE!"
"Z, START THE CAR"
"HALEY! QUICK GRAB THE KEYS"
"CHLOE? CHLOE? CMON WAKE UP!"

"Has she been working too hard lately?"
"She did recently" Laina the girl who's face is filled with tears, replied
"Did any signs of exhaustion show that connect to her condition?"
"Yes, she mentioned feeling a bit of pain in her heart that I assume she understates to make it seem like she was alright"
The doctor that quite know the 5 girls, especially Chloe, sigh and says....
"Laina, Girls, you know Chloe's condition. A stressful life isn't for her. This is the first time in 2 years she was confined again and the first time in 3 months she returned to the hospital" He rubs his temples due to stress "dilated cardiomyopathy isn't a joke, girls. Chloe now has to go through surgery again"
The last 4 words that escaped for the doctors mouth completely made the 4 girls freeze in shock.
"A-again? Is there no other way?" Daphne asked, hoping that there is another option besides surgical treatment
"As much as I want there to be, No"
"When will the surgery take place?"
"As soon as you girls are ready" Since he is quite familiar with these girls, he knows how hard their life is at the moment. "I know life is hard right now, but I believe in you girls. You would do anything for your sister"
"We'll just set the payment as soon as possible, then we can start the surgery"
"Alright. But for now, Chloe has to stay here in the hospital. Her heart is more unstable than ever"
"As long as our Chloe will be safe"

The 4 girls arrive home to pack some of their stuff when they have to stay in the hospital, including Chloe's.
"I'll stay with Chloe tomorrow, lets just take turns everyday so she at least has one of us there" Laina says shoving her clothes into her bag
"While the rest us work to pay for her surgery" Daphne continues
"Lai, the school vs school games are coming up. For sure our cheer squad will be planning cheers. What should we do?" Zoey ask in concern
"We'll just have to ask permission to Loren that we have to sit this one out" She replies still packing her stuff
"I might have to work overtime just so I can get an extra salary" Haley joins in "I also plan to work tomorrow, instead of going to school"
"Haley! You can't skip school, you need to-" Daphne was cut off by Haley once again
"School can wait! We are the top of the class, we can catch up. Chloe is more important at the moment! I volunteer to work extra hard until we can pay for her surgery. The sooner the better"
"She has a point Daph" Zoey adds "to be honest, I'd rather work too than go to school"
"Hold up, Girls! We can still earn money for Chloe's surgery and still go to school. We still need to think about our education" the eldest pauses from packing to talk
"Lai, the longer we wait for the surgery, the more Chloe's life will be at risk. And our hospital bill will rise the longer we stay in that hospital. It almost cost us to sell the house just to pay for her hospital bill last time she was confined"
Laina sighs in defeat "fine, but we still need to go school at least thrice every week"
Haley shook her head "Twice!"
