I know I've definitely told SOME of you on here, and I think I mentioned it in this book at some point, that in 2020 my goal is to write a REAL book. A novel, if you will. Not fanfiction. Anyway, I did. lol I wrote the first draft of the entire 323 page book from January 2nd to March 4th of this year. Then I took a slight break, cuz before you edit, it's always a good idea to put some time between you and your pages, that way it's easier to catch mistakes and plot holes and general garbage.
For my birthday, (March 28, boitches... I'll be 26, omfg) my gift to myself was a printed, bound copy of my first draft. It got here early, and since I'm impatient AF, I read the whole thing through, and ended up really loving my book. In any case, it's definitely the book I wanted to write, though it still needs lots of editing.
So that's what I'm working on rn, the first round of editing on me book. Here's a look at why my neck hurts today.

So many sticky tabs, much note-taking, and UwU look how adorable my little homemade cover is lololol.
Anyway, yeah. Once I go through this painstaking task, the editing ain't even halfway done, cuz then I'mma need to find beta readers, a few lucky suckers to read my crap and tell me WHY it sucks so that I can make it even better. Then I'll have to edit AGAIN based on that feedback, and if magic is real, then maybe my editing will be over after a round or two of that.
The plan is to get this puppy into tip top shape, and send out query letters to real live literary agents. That's the magical human being that can take a book from a flat ass doc on your puter to a real live published book that people can buy.
This also sorta a "I'm sorry" to those of you who want me to update my Choose Your Own BTS Adventure book. This is the reason why I haven't. I'm sure you can understand which is more important to me. lol
That's it. Lil update. I might update some more after a while, and I may even be scouring wattpad for beta readers. Idk yet. Idk how to life.
