She's empty
struggling with grief
fighting her emotions
being angry at those she cannot change
She's lived
dealing in pain
phases of feelings
back and forth
as she promised to not be victim again
She's done all she could
but as always it's them who leaves
(or she who grows)
She's picked herself up
so many times now
he's just another passing winter.
