Bismuth Casual

(Y/n)'s P.O.V

I was drawing in my sketchbook when my phone started ringing. I pick it up and I look at the caller ID. I see that it is Connie. I quickly answer it as I bring my phone to my ear. "Ayo wassup." I tell her. "Aye (Y/n) my boo I was wondering if you and Steven wanted to come with me to Starlight Roller Rink? Pearl asked me to ask you guys since she's hanging out with her friends and Bismuth she wanted to invite us too."Connie said. "Yeah that'll be awesome at what time?" I asked her. "It's today at 7 ok?" Connie said. "Alright gotcha see you soon bae." I say to her. "Alright I'll see you too honey." Connie said as she laughed . I then hung up and began to laugh. You see me and Connie have the type of very close girlfriend friendship, so we usually act like if we were dating but that's just how we act. I heard a cough behind me. I instantly turn around and I see Steven standing there. "O-Oh hi sweetie." I nervously say to him. "(Y/n) are you talking to someone else behind my back." He asks with a slight anger in his tone. "Look it's not what you think I was actually talking to Connie." I tell him. "Oh ok why did she call?" He asked. "She invited us to hang out at the Starlight Roller Rink today." I say. "Ok." He said dully. I slowly get up and I walk towards him. "Hey, listen to me. Don't ever think I'll cheat or leave you, because you are everything I ever wanted in my life I will always love you. Besides no other person in the world has squishy cheeks like you do." I cooed to him as I began to playfully squish his cheeks. "(Y/n) stooopppp." He whined as he laughed. I lean in and kiss him. "I will always love you no matter what." I say to him as I hug him. "I love you too honey." He said. We pull apart from the hug. "Sooo have you ever skated before?" I asked him. "N-No."Steven said nervously. "Hey it's ok there's always a first for everything!" I reassure him. I look over at him and stare at him. He looks over at me and he locks into my eyes. I then put my hands on his cheeks and began to squish them again. "They're soo squishyyy!" I said. "(Y/nnnnnnnn)!" Steven whined.

~Time Skip~

Connie already arrived and Steven got his keys. Although Connie has to sit on my lap on the way there. So I put my arms around her waist like if I was her seatbelt. On our way there Pearl was talking to Bismuth and she told her that she has to be herself. Once we arrived I let Connie leave first then me. We all then walk into the building. "Here we are!" Pearl exclaimed. "Wow! So you mean tell me that people pay to have wheels strapped on their feet for fun?" Bismuth asked as she looked around the rink. "That is really something else." Bismuth said. "Hey there's Sour Cream." Steven said as he pointed to where he was. "Keep skating in circles, you're doing great!" He said through the microphone. "I don't know about this y'all I've never skated before." Bismuth said. "This will be my first time skating." Steven told her. "How did you miss out on this popular human activity?" Bismuth asked. "Well with everything that happened since i got my powers, I kinda missed out on a lot of human stuff." Steven said sheepishly. "But hey it can't be that hard to skate right?" Steven said. "Psh you tell me. When I tried to skate for the first time, I fell on my face flat and one of my teeth came out I was lucky it was my baby teeth though." I tell Steven. Steven immediately gasped and he hugged me tightly. "My poor baby!" He exclaimed. "YOO HOO! There you are!" Pearl exclaimed as she went over to her friends. "Woah! So that's Pearl's fab club huh?" Bismuth said. "It's like she has a whole other life going on." Steven said. "Steven, (Y/n), Connie, Bismuth," Pearl called us out as she motioned us to come over. "This is Kadisha, Hymay, and Brandish. They're just a few of my human friends." She said as she introduced us to her friends. "So have you guys known Pearl long?" One of them asks. "I've basically known Pearl my whole life." Steven said. "Pearl taught me how to use a sword." Connie said. "Pearl's kinda like my second mom." I said. "I guess I've known Pearl uh few thousand years." Bismuth said sheepishly. "That's right! Bismuth also builded little Homeworld." Pearl said as she went over and grabbed Bismuth by her arm. "You're also an architect!" One of Pearl's friends exclaimed. They soon left leaving me, Steven and Connie alone. "So you guys wanna skate or nah?" I asked them. "Yeah let's do this!" Connie exclaimed. "Steven?" I asked him. "Ok!" Steven agreed. We then went over to the counter that had the roller skates and we got our roller skates. We then went over and put our skates on. "All right you guys ready?" Connie asked. "Yes ma'am!" I exclaimed as I stood up with my skates. Suddenly two kids come up to us. "Woah is that Connie?" The girl asks. "Patrica! Daniel!" Connie exclaims. "What's up?" Daniel said. "Steven, (Y/n), these are a couple of my friends from school." Connie said. "Heya!" I greet them. "Oh uh how's it going?" Steven asked. "It's cool." Daniel said. "You should've seen Daniel earlier, we was out of shape because his mom tore into him because of his last test score." Patrica said. "Ugh you know I kinda forgot about it for a sec." Daniel groaned. "Heh I know how that feels. One time White Diamond tore into me. Literally! She took my gem , I'm part gem by the way, she pulled it right out of my body." Steven said. "Ok?" Daniel said a bit nervous. "Steven it's ok calm down." I whispered to him as I held his hand. "So what grade are you both in?" Patrica asked. "Well I'm in 10th grade but then I haven't been attending school lately so I need to catch up." I told her. "And you Steven?" She asked. "Uhhhhhh 16?" Steven answered. Patrica bursted our laughing. "So you're taking AP classes?" Daniel asked. "Uhhh.." Steven trailed off. "So you guys ready to skate?" Connie asked. "Heck yeah!" Patrica said as they soon skated off leaving me and Steven alone. "Hey are you ok honey?" I asked him as I placed my hand in his cheek. He slowly leaned into my touch. "I'm ok sweetie don't worry." He said as he kisses my cheek. "Hey you lovebirds coming or what?" Connie yelled. "Coming!" I exclaimed. "Come on hon lets go and skate alright." I say to him as I hold his hand. "Ok." He says. Patrica, Daniel, Connie and I go into the rink. "Here I come-WAHHH!" I heard Steven yell and a thud after. "Woah hey are you ok?" I ask him "Yeah yeah I'm alright." He reassures me. "It's your first time right?" Connie asks. Steven tried to stand but he falls to the floor again. "Yeah but I'll get the hang of it." Steven says. "Do you want some help?" I ask him. "No thanks I'm ok." Steven says. But then he slips but he hold onto the side of the rink. "You can go on without me I'll catch up." Steven said. "Oh ok." Patrica said as she goes off skating with Daniel. "Yell if you change your mind!" Connie calls out she then grabs my arm and pulls me towards her. "Hey chill down gurl." I tell her as we skate in pairs around the rink. But every time we went around a lap we would see Steven struggling to balance himself.
Steven's P.O.V
I finally made it around the rink. I tried going to the other side but I fail as I slip and fall. "Okay one lap I think that deserves a break." I say to myself as I try to stand up again. "Hey Steven!" I heard a voice call behind me. I turn and I see Connie standing there. "Connie! Where are Daniel and Patrica?" I asked her. "They're still having fun in the rink." She replied. "And (Y/n)?" I asked her. "She's with them and it looks like she's having fun." We both look at where (Y/n) is and she's spinning around while laughing. "Did you want to hang out I don't have to skate you know." Connie told me with a smile. "No no you're here to have fun you're so busy studying you should get to be with your friends." I reassure her. "You're my friend! We could sit and have some tater tots?" She asked me. "No no you should skate. I want you to skate." I told her. "Well ok then." Connie said as she went off skating again. "What am I doing?" I groan to myself. I lean near the rail as I put my head down on my arms. "Hey Steven." I heard Bismuth say to me as she stands beside me. "Done tearing it up?" She asks. "Bismuth I think I think I've forgotten how to talk to humans." I tell her. "Really? Have you tried one of these? Pearl says it's supposed to help." Bismuth says as she hands me a toilet paper roll. "Maybe later." I said to her as I grab the roll and set it to the side. "What's the big deal? I thought you got along great with humans?" She asks. "What about (Y/n), Connie, and Greg?" She asks me. "Greg's my dad he doesn't count. Me and (Y/n) are dating she's always with me most of the time so I guess she doesn't count either, and Connie it's fine when it's just us but I don't know how to talk to her when she's around with her friends." I say to her as I look over to Connie and I see her laughing with (Y/n). "You did fine making friends right Bismuth." I asked her. "Oh yeah uh it was alright." She said. "Alright? It was what you came for isn't it?" I asked her. "Ah well Umm...." Bismuth trails off as she looks over to see Pearl. I look at Pearl and I quickly caught up. "W-W-Wait Pearl?! You're here for Pearl?!" I exclaimed. Bismuth covered my mouth with her hand and she sushes me. Pearl then looks over and waves at us. We wave back at her and she continues to skate. "Are you trying to hide it from her?" I ask her. "I just don't want to take away from what she's got. She has her own thing going on. She's like the Pearl I remember. But a little different. She's happier. I just wanted to catch up." She says. "Yeah. When Connie and I were fighting to save the universe, things were sort of easier. We were fighting fighting the same fight but now it's like we're living different lives. I wonder if I'm even her best friend anymore." I say sadly. Bismuth then bangs on the railing startling me. "How long has this been going on?" She asks me. "Uh a couple of months." I said to her. "Listen Steven, Pearl brought me here to set me up with her friends. But Connie and (Y/n) came here to hang out with you, and if you think you're friendship with Connie is not enough then go talk to her!" She told me. "But her friends think I'm weird." I tell her. "Of course you're weird you're a crystal gem!" She exclaimed. "Connie knows that! She's always known that! That never stopped you from being friends." She says. "You're right. Connie knows who I am. She's been my friend. She IS my friend." I said. "So what do you want?" Bismuth asks. "To do friend stuff with Connie!" I exclaim. "And what are you gonna do?!" Bismuth asks. "Skate with Connie!" I said. "Then go do it!" Bismuth said as she pushes me into the rink. "Connie! Wha!" I yelled out as I fell on my face. "Oh my Steven!" "Steven!" I heard (Y/n) and Connie call out. "Steven are you ok?" Connie asks. (Y/n) then comes up and stands next to Connie. "Connie I'm sorry. I don't want to hold you back." I told her. "I don't mind." She said. "You've got school, new friends, you're going new places. I feel like you're drifting away from me. I want to reconnect but I DON'T KNOW HOW TO SKATE!" I exclaim. "Skating is what you're worried about?" Connie asks. "Pffffttt!" I heard (Y/n) try to hold in her laugh. I then pout at her. "Oh shoot no no no I didn't mean to- Haha hahah!" (Y/n) said as she then bursted out laughing. "(Y/nnnnnn)!" I whined at her. "Ok everybody it's time for our nightly skate competition. Everyone shake off your sickest moves and be crowned skater of the night!" Sour Cream announces. "Ahem Connie I allow you to do the honors." I heard (Y/n) say as she bows at her. "Come on what do you say?" Connie said as she stuck out her hand. I immediately caught on. We're going to be Stevonnie.

(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
Stevonnie was really having fun out there. Skating like no one was watching. I wish I could be just like them. They soon came up to me and twirled me around and they dipped me down but brought me back up. I was left stunned as I began to squeal. Stevonnie soon finished their skate as she did the splits. I'd be lying if I said I envy them. Everyone began to cheer. "I think we can agree who the winner is unless some dog wants to follow that up." Sour Cream said. Everyone shook their head in denial. "Well I guess that makes the winner Stevonnie!" Sour Cream cheered. Then Stevonnie unfused to show Steven and Connie there. I immediately rush up to them as I engulf them in a hug. "Oh my god you guys were so cool!" I said as I separated from the hug. "Steven! Connie! That was amazing!" I heard Patrica say as she comes up to us. "What the heck was that out there?" Daniel asks. "Oh fusion? Yeah that's kinda our thing." Connie says. "It's something I picked up from my mom's side." Steven said. "The only thing that I pick up from my mom's side of the family is stressed out." Daniel said. "Haha same!" Steven said. "What was it like the first time you fused?" Patrica asked. "Ok so we were at this-" "Yo Steven, Connie, since y'all won, you get to pick the next song!" Sour Cream said as he cut Steven off. "The next song?" Steven mumbles. "I know the perfect song! Come on (Y/n), Connie!" Steven said as he began to skate up to where Sour scream was. "BRB!" Connie said to her friends. I skated along side them while holding Connie's hand. "Hey Sour Cream I got a song for ya!" Steven said as he told him the name of the song. "This one goes out to Bismuth and Pearl from Steven, (Y/n) and Connie!" Sour Cream announces. Steven then winks at Bismuth. Wait a minute! Ooooooohhhhh. Bismuth and Pearl!!! Ahhhh they'll be so cute together! I began to squeal uncontrollably. "Woah (Y/n) are you ok?" Connie asked with a chuckle. "Hell to the no! They are so cute together!" I said as I pointed to Bismuth and Pearl skating. "Let's spice this baby up!" Sour Cream announced. I let go of Connie's hand as I began to skate freely. "Wow love I never knew you know how to skate so majestically." I heard Steven say as he came up behind me. "Oh thanks dear! Did you finally learn how to skate without any help?" I asked him. "Eh sorta but I bet you can help me." He said. "Come here you goofball I said as I grabbed his hand as I began to skate with him. I then lean over and I kiss his cheek. "I love you Steven don't you ever forget that" I said as I leaned on his shoulder. "I'll never forget that." Steven said as he held me close.

Hey y'all I'm so sorry that I took forever to update it's just that online school really seems to hate my guts. But anyways here's a new chapter and I hope you enjoyed it. Sorry if I had to make you and Connie be lesbos for like a minute but I can't help it she's baby and I love her 😳😳
Anyways I'm going to try to update this book more frequently.
