When it was tables that kept us apart
Your smile left an imprint on my heart
Even now I stare into empty space
The walls and furniture carve your faceThe silk curtains remind me of your scarf
Your braids were tightly drawn from scalp
Eyes ever dreamy and innocence portrayed
Body calling out while my caress is delayedNow I yearn to touch you more than ever
My loneliness echoes now and o'er
In this soulless state I exist in fear
Quarantined not in locomotion, but in mind
