Irin felt the ground under her tremble, waking her up. "It started?" she quickly got on her feet and pulled out her bow and arrow, as she watched everyone pull out their weapons.

Ming was the first one to step out of the den, as he scanned around quickly followed by Phana and Forth.

He looked back, and said "You two go to the east, and start your spell" looking at the witches, he turned to Max and Tul "Keep them safe"

The winter feys nodded, as and quickly grabbed Jihyo's bag and stepped out of the cave to the small ridge from where they would cast their spell to bring out the light, if they manage to succeed.

"I can sense the portal opening up" Kit yelled "everyone, out now"

"Don't spread out" Phana pulled back Irin behind him "let's keep them distracted and give time for them to cast their spell"

"Any minute now" Forth concentrated on the faint glimmer that stood out in darkness.

Ming and Kit first phased, followed by others.

"They are surrounding us" Pha said as he noticed a similar shimmer open up on his right.

"Make sure they don't reach them" Kimmon said, "Am sure she won't come until they have tired us out"

"Okay, ar.." Tee got cut when the portal opened up and a swarm of demons attacked them from his left side, Forth lunged forward, his sward tearing the demons apart.

Tee sank his teeth through their nasty flesh and tore them apart, clawing his way blocking them from proceeding further. Pha was doing the same towards the demon that started pouring out from the portal on the other side.

Kimmon sharpened his eyes, searching for Maeve, as he easily tore through demon swarm like knife slicing through butter. Nila did the same, speed so incredible even the wolves found it had to follow her movement.

Forth and Irin slashed through the demons, their weapons glowing bright.

"Irin Phase" Forth shouted, as he cut through the demons, but she continued fighting in her human form, using her wolf's strength 'am sure of my footing in this form'

'me too' Posh grunted as he continued swinging his knife next to his sister, the twins fighting back to back.

Jihyo and Jisoo started the spell, with both winter fairies standing guard, their eyes fixed on the battle far away. It was pitch black, with demons swarming then and Only streaks of lights from their packs weapons can be seen.

"Hurry" Tul said softly "they might sense us here soon"

"Almost done" Jisoo responded as he added the last ingredient before she could finish a faint glimmer occurred right outside her circle

"I can't hold it for long" Jihyo said, as Max and Tul concentrated on the portal that was opening up with their swords drawn out.

Max quickly turned and pulled Tul in for a kiss, one filled with love and desperation.

"Guys...." Jihyo sighed, but she understood this might be the last chance ever for them to kiss, she turned to look Jisoo

"Save your last day speech and start the incantation" Jisso said "I can't handle a soft Jihyo now.... Get a grip"

Jihyo chuckled, people thought she was the tough one, but in truth it was Jisoo, only very few knew that.

"Ah.... you are on mom mode" she laughed, but turned serious as she let the power course through her and she felt them both being grounded to dirt below.
