"Ayo wake up" I heard. I think it was Shawn. I groaned rolling over placing the pillow over my head. I was sleeping so good. It got quiet so I slowly drifted back to sleep until Alexis came into the room and started jumping on the bed.
"Mama wake up. Daddy called your phone earlier" Alexis said plopping onto the bed next to me. I sat up and brushed my hair out my face.
"Okay. Where's Shawn?" I said grabbing my phone and facetiming Darrell.
"He downstairs cooking breakfast" I nodded.
"Wassup ma" Darrell answered propping his phone up. He was on the ground doing push ups.
"You called earlier?"
"Yeah. Imma come by and pick Lexis up and take her to the park. I'll be there in bout 15 minutes. Imma finish this rep and take a quick shower"
"You taking her more than me"
"You be wanting ya time with ole dude so I take her. It's fine we be coolin it"
"Mannn" I said getting up and going to my bathroom. I propped my phone on the counter but not where he could see me sit on the toilet.
"And nah. I be tryna do a hangout session with all three of us but again.. you be tryna cool it with ya mans"
"Listen... Hear me out. We can hang out tonight"
"Alright bet and I bought you and Lex some shoes, so be prepared" he said hanging up. Rude ass.
I finished up in the bathroom and walked downstairs. I thought I was going to see Shawn, but he was gone. Breakfast was sitting on the counter, but no note was left saying where he went or anything. I went upstairs to grab my phone, but got distracted by how quiet it was.
"Lexis!" I yelled. She didn't respond and I ran to her room to see her with my phone. I took a sigh of relief. She was on youtube on my phone. "Hey Alexis. Let's get ya dressed. You going with ya dad today"
"Why I never stay here with you?"
"Because Darrel likes to get you" I said making her pout.
"Stop making that face and go take a bath" I said grabbing my phone and texting Shawn.

I started picking out her outfit. They were probably going to the park and ice cream. What is something she can wear that can still be cute if she messes it up? My phone dinged causing me to come out my thoughts.
