Lionesses reunite

End of the season

It was the last game of the season before the summer break and g was exited to be playing in the FA cup final at Wembley. She woke up to Stephs alarm going off.

"Turn it off, I'm up I'm up" g shouted, Steph walked in laughing.

"You ready for today g?" She asked shaking Georgia's duvet to get her out of bed

"Always ready" g replied putting on her kit and pulled her hair up and walked into Tilly's room.

"Morning mummy! Are you ready to win" Tilly said jumping out of bed and running over to put her Man City top on

"That's a look!" Steph said walking in on Tilly with half a Man City shirt on and her pink pj bottoms on.
G giggled and got Tilly changed into full Man City kit, which brought a smile to Tilly's face. They went downstairs and had some porridge before g and Steph headed off.

"We will see you later at the game" Stephen said. He kissed Steph goodbye and Tilly moaned at why she couldn't go now but they explained how they needed to do some media then warm up.

G and Steph were well under way with the media and were sitting in an interview.

"So what has been your favorite goal so far?" They asked

"Has to be my debut , even though it wasn't the best goal I scored , there is nothing better than scoring on your debut for your country! Also to have my little girl and family there as well , there was no better feeling!" G answered and smiled to Steph.

"Ye has to be my team GB goal against Brazil at Wembley! Amazing feeling scoring for your country" Steph answered and a smile grew on her face as she replayed it in her head

"Do your partners enjoy watching?"

"Ye Stephen loves it, it's nice having him there" Steph said, she quickly looked over to g who wasn't talking and she knew that g was starting to get anxious

"Ye we all enjoy family there, g loves it when Tilly and her family come down from barrow-in-Furness!" Steph said trying to live the questions on song would be able to calm down

"Georgia , isn't it true that Olly and you are now no together? What happened? Is Tilly not allowed a dad?"

Steph wanted the ground to swollen them both up. She could feel Georgia's leg starting to shake and she starting to bite her lips

"I'd prefer to finish to there thank you" g said and stood up. Thanked the interviewer and ran to the toilets. Steph didn't really know what to do but thanked the interviewer and ran after g. All she couldn't think is what would be going through the young midfielders head right now

"G take a breath" Steph said entering the toilets to see g in a ball on the floor kicking the wall and in tears.

"Steph , I've fucked everyone's lives up" g screamed which caused Leah to come in who was passing by.

"Wow , g take a breath I'm here what's happened?" Leah said holding g tight to help her feel at ease.

"Interviewer asked some questions that he... well he shouldn't of" Steph explained and g could feel herself getting wound up again

"That interview is going to fucking go everywhere! Everyone is going to hate me and Olly will find it and will message me and Tilly will find it one day and ughhhhhhh I just don't wanna be here anymore" g broke down in tears again and starting to kick the door to the cubicle

"What do we do" Leah whispered

"Ummm" Steph quickly got her phone out of her pocket and asked Stephen to send over a video of Tilly. In a matter of seconds Stephen replied with a video of Tilly dancing to Georgia's fav song.

"G look at this" Steph said handing over the phone

"This is why your here , this is why your the amazing footballer you are , this is why you need to stay" Steph said. G stopped crying and slowly slid to the floor tears falling down her face but they were happy tears. She realised how much Tilly means to her and without Olly she wouldn't be here.

"If Olly didn't enter your life, Tilly wouldn't have either, remember that everything happens for a reason g" Leah said softly

They all watched the video and laughed at how Tilly was dancing. She had stephs sunglasses on and Georgia's sliders and hoodie (which drowned her and was more like a dress on Tilly but she loved it, she had the sleeves rolled up and it smelt of her mum who she was extremely proud of) this made g laugh and she thanked the girls for being there even tho she was a nightmare.

"You keep our lives entertaining Georgia stanway" Steph said

"Ye without you I don't know why I would smile" Leah said

"Leah you have 2 kids and Jordan that's why you would smile" Steph said

"Oh yeah!" Leah forgot and starting to giggle anxiously

"Come on girlies we have a cup final to win" steph said pulling g up from the floor.

They all walked out and Steph smiled at g and whispered

"You are the strongest person I know Georgia stanway" g smiled and replied

"Just as equally as strong as you" they both smiled and walked out onto the pitch to warm up. The crowd was starting to fill up and they spotted Tilly and Stephen on the subs bench.

Georgia ran over to Tilly who ran into her mums arms. The both of them ran over to the rest of the frisk who were in huddle. Steph whispered to g
"You just needed a little bit of belief" g smiled and Tilly ran back over to her from playing with Caroline weir
"Mummy , you are the strongest person I know" she said and jumped into g's arms which made the girls smile. Steph looked at her and knew she had heard her say that to her mum and knew that she was teaching the little one well.

That evening was a weird one for Georgia as even tho she was one of the only people who didn't have a partner at the celebration evening. She didn't feel alone like she normally did. She felt like she had finally moved on. JP was back down (which Tilly loved) and g finally realised she had everyone she needed at this table (and her fam in barrow-in-Furness but that was a given !!).
