"Tsk! How dare you stop me?!" "Jie jie, please calm down," I said, "you are the Emperor's most favourite new concubine. What if the Emperor hears you? It won't be good for your reputation."
She points her fingers at me, "Just you see. I will ruin your future and make you regret of joining the harem!" She then scurried off with her maid. I turn around to see Ming Daying crying, then I took her hands. "You must be scared," as I calmed her, "don't worry. She's gone."
