Finally after the kitchen was clean and tidy, and papyrus was taught thoroughly how to make noodles, you decided it was time to make some actual lunch for the boys. You started by buttering 6 slices of bread and getting some cheese out of the fridge. When you were finished you had 3 large sandwiches filled will all types of things, on the side you placed some things called 'popato chisps' which you assumed was the monsters version of crisps (chips If you live somewhere else, like America). When you placed the plates in the skelebro's usual eating places you called them, assuming they had retired to their room, but to your surprise they were sitting in the living room watching someone called 'mettaton' on the TV. "WOW Y/N THIS LOOKS INCREDIBLE" papyrus beamed "Heh, thanks pap" Sans didn't say anything as he sat down, keeping his eyes on your smiling face, watching as you scratched your neck in embarrassment. When you finally recovered you looked over at sans and tilted your head "Saaaannnns? Sssaannns? Watcha looking at?" You started to wave your hand in front of his face to try and get his attention. "Huh? Oh just thinking... thanks by the way, for the food" "Oh it's nothing" you smiled When you finished the food papyrus offered to clean up, which you were more than happy about. Although you hated cleaning you did sit on the counter to talk to pap to keep him happy sans walked in at some point but didn't say anything. As you all laughed and enjoyed the conversations you were having there was a knock on the door, you got up and opened it. Standing in the door way was a very large robot you guessed as Mettaton. Mettaton's outfit and shoes were so incredible you had to stop yourself from telling 'YASS QUEEN' "Hi" you stretched your hand upwards "you must be Mettaton?" Mettaton squealed and pulled your hand into a hug which (surprisingly) was pretty nice considering Mettaton is made out of metal. "Yes, yes I am darling! I am the most fabulous he/ her/ them in the underground!" Well that answers your question, you thought. "What do you prefer to go by?" You questioned politely "Oh any is fine darling, I mostly go by 'him' though" "Awesome! Come on in" you took a step backwards to let him in and smiled "Hey y/n wh- ugh why are you here?" Sans walked into the room and instantly regretted it "Saannnssyy! Don't be mean, I'm here for your brother after all!" Mettaton strutted into the kitchen and after a few squeals papyrus and Mettaton walked out, hand in hand (yes I ship them, no ship 🧢 pleaseee) "WE GOING ON A DATE OF COURSE BROTHER!" Papyrus looked so happy you couldn't help but smile brightly "Have a good time guys!" You yelled while they ran out of the door. You shut the door behind them and looked around expecting to see sans, except he had disappeared. In his place was a note that read Dear UT sans, This is an emergency, I've noticed something strange in your timeline I've never seen before but I do know for a fact it's bad. This first visit will just be me, but I can't say the same for all the others in the future. I hope this is a pacifist run because I really don't want to have to deal with genocide. I'm not waiting for a reply I'm just waiting until it's just you and not papyrus. Also I'm going to assume a human hasn't fell since I can't see one on the pages. I'm sorry this visit isn't going to be a fun one. I'll be there shortly. -ink, the creator and protecter of the multiverses
You put down the paper and stared confusedly for a few seconds before your were interrupted by another knock, this one seems hurried and impatient. Walking slowly to the door you almost get knocked over by the person on the other side running into the house. Steadying yourself, you hold your head and say "well excuse me" as you open your eyes a skeleton stares back in shock and confusion. "Uh-" "Your not supposed to be here." The Skeleton says without missing a beat. This skeleton was dressed in brown but had a lot of patterns and colours to complement it. It wasn't a bad outfit it was just, busy. This skeletons pupils were in different shapes and had a long scarf that nearly dragged on the floor. This skeleton looked very similar to sans, a relative perhaps? "did I come to a human- verse? No that can't be right, this must be the original, why is this human here then? Is it a different Frisk? No It can't b-" they stop muttering as they turn to you "Hey? Uh I don't know who Frisk is but I can assure you I'm not them, I'm Y/n" you say sticking your hand out. The skeletons expression changes almost instantly and so does their pupils "Hey! Nice to meet you! I'm Ink!" They shake your hand with so much enthusiasm It almost knocks you over again. You laugh and say "Oh so your the one who left the note" you look over at where the note is still on the floor "Heh heh, yeah" he picks It up and it evaporates into thin air, you stare in wonder. "Never seen magic before?" He looks at your face in amusement "No, I have" you reply, this response seems to confuse the colourful skeleton "Huh?" He says "well I wasn't expecting that" he smiles looking around, then almost instantly his smile drops "Where is your sans?" "My sans?" You ask now very confused "Yes" "Uh" you begin looking around "I'm here" sans' voice replies from the top of the staircase "y/n this is-" "-ink" "Yeah, he's the-" "- creator and protector of the multiverse" "Yea- wait how did you know all of that?" You went to go point to the note before remembering that ink destroyed it "I read the note you left on the floor, where did you go anyways?" "Well I went to go write a note telling ink here not to come since your here and you shouldn't be getting mixed up in different Au's" "Whaaatt! You weren't going to let me meet ink?" You pout and cross your arms like a child "come ooonn! I've always wanted to know if multiverses and alternative universes were real!" Sans and ink stared at you. Ink with slight amusement and sans with confusion "What more don't I know? First magic and timelines now it's Aus?!" "You have magic?" Ink questions, you simply nod in response "that makes more sense, probably why I couldn't see you when I looked into this Au" suddenly there was a ringing noise and ink took out his phone "Hey ruru. No i- yes I'm here- no I don- Error- no- I- UGH" ink yelled as he dropped his phone and red targets replaced his pupils "sorry I have to make this short" ink says being his cheerful self again "basically gaster-" you and sans winced at the pain but ink didn't stop "- never really died in this timeline and he's mad so he's going to try and kill you both, probably so just watch out yeah I've got to go because error is on his way okay bye!" Ink said in all one breath and then jumped into a pool of ink. Well that's ironic you thought Sans turned and looked at you "Sooooooo" he says "let's talk" you simply nod and sit on the sofa waiting for sans to join you "What do you want to know?"
