Her - (Kageyama x Reader Collection)

04 - Rainy Resort

The Karasuno volleyball team decided to take a trip together during summer break. They invited you knowing your history with Kageyama, and your uh.."relationship" which wasn't exactly established yet. It had been a couple of days at the resort, and you hadn't talked to him once. The others were starting to notice the awkward tension between you two as well, and the awkward staring wasn't helping your emotional state as well made you anxious. Kiyoko wasn't there to comfort either, she had plans this break which the team was very disappointed  about. They were happy they had you, though. 

Today was different. 

It was raining not too bad, Tsukishima warned that it might get worse as the day goes on, but that didn't stop them. They were out there playing in the rain. It was everyone's last day, might as well enjoy it! You stared outside through a window. You were not crazy enough to play in the rain, and you guessed they'd probably all have colds by the end of today. 

You hadn't seen Tobio today, though. You looked among the fools outside, the only one missing was him. Even Tsukishima was messing around, which was much of a surprise. Maybe, he needed a little change too.

"(Y/N)," you turned the sound of his voice. You guys had been on first-name basis for a while now, and it didn't bother you. It just made your heart pound everytime he said it. 

"Ah, Tobio. Why don't you go play with them?" you asked a concerned look forming on your face.

"I'm not in the mood," he curtly answered and you swallowed as he walked to stand beside you and proceeded to glare at those playing outside.

You looked at his hands, that were by his side, and saw the way they clenched was he okay? 

"Tobio--"

"I don't want to talk about it." you took a step away from him when he said that. What was his problem? Was the rain getting to him?

"Are you okay?" you built the courage to ask him at least that.

"No,"

"You sure you don't wanna talk about?" You took a step closer and grabbed his hand and felt him tense up. He always did that, how cute. 

"Y-Yes." he answered finally looking at you and slowly looking down at your hands his face flushing with red.

"S-Sorry," you pulled your hand away but he caught it and interlocked your fingers.

"It's okay," he breathed out then quickly turned back to the window trying to hide his blushing face.

You giggled and got closer to him leaning on his arm, and making sure not to let go of his hand. After a few seconds, you felt him relax to your touch. You didn't want to pry on his problems, but it was itching in the back of your head.

"Hey, Tobio, are you going to tell me what happened?" He looked down and then looked away from you.

"H-Hinata-kun, put bugs on my pillow..." you started laughing, he was upset over such a silly thing?! Thats Kageyama for you. You giggled once more, before nodding slightly.

"You should probably tell them to come in. The rain is getting harder. I'll go get some towels." You looked back outside and they were still messing around. Nishinoya had picked up a slug and was chasing Hinata with it. 

You seperated from Kageyama and starting walking away slowly letting go of his hand, but he instantly pulled you to him and  put his soft lips on your own and pushed his body into yours. It was gentle, sweet, and intoxicating all in one. He pulled away and swiftly turned away.

"See you in a second!" he left you there warmth wrapped inside and out of your body. He was amazing.

With a grin on your face, you turned around and ran to go get the towels for them.

Sniffles filled the room, as the boys all got together trying to envelop the warmth around them. You giggled at the sight of them and looked at Kageyama who despite being emotionally shy, was trying to help everyone. You tended to Hinata who was shivered but had a giant smile on his face.

"I-I-I wish y-you and Kageyama were out there! I-It wouldve be a lot more fun, but two were in here. K-I-S-S-I-N-G."

"HINATA!!" you heard Tobio yell as heat rose to your face. You laughed despite the embarrassment.

"Hinata, you weren't suppose to tell them we saw!" Nishinoya yelled trying to stop Tobio's wrath.

You sheepishly smiled, but couldn't escape the light feeling in your stomach. You were really happy, and as Tobio ran over to you trying to deal with Hinata. You held his hand intertwining you fingers, calming him down. Hinata didn't realize what you had done till a evil grin appeared on his face.

"You're whipped, Kageyama-kun~" he chimed.

Kageyama was about to get riled up again, but a slight Achoo~ escaping out of you stopped him. 

"Get her a warm towel!" You smiled waving Kageyama off, you felt fine.

That didn't stop him from constantly checking on you after that. Popping up at your house randomly, and you soon realized that he knew you were okay. He just didn't have a good excuse to constantly be around you.
