Prologue (2) - The Era of the Darkness

Hundreds of years later

"Archangel Jin! We need to gather for a session right now."

The heavenly choir was disrupted by Archangel Hope's sudden loud voice.

"Angel Hope, can you calm down for a minute?" Archangel Jin was seated on his usual seat at the alter as he was looking through pages and pages of the Golden Book as part of his daily routine.

Archangel Jin is now the highest among the highest in heaven who is in charge of the order of Divine and the possession of the Golden Book.

"Angel, how can you remain calm when the earth is being ripped apart with so much sin and wrongdoings? I can sense every single human are losing their Hope. I can't bear it any longer Angel. I hear their cries and it's making me very vulnerable."

Archangel Hope was flying back and forth flapping his wings nervously in front Archangel Jin showing his growing concern as he tried to shake off the gloomy feeling he been having.

"They are humans Angel Hope, of coz there will be a time where war shall begin and people will commit more sins."

"But Angel Jin, our job is to protect them, keep them at peace."

"Well, there is a different way of putting it Angel Hope, we as angels, as per the Divine, we can only guide them. Decisions are always in the hands of the humans hence there is what we call as fate and destiny."

"Angel Jin, I know we have known each other for hundreds of years now, but I still can't really understand what you are thinking at times like this."

Archangel Jin closed the Golden Book and tapped his feet together to fly himself over to the now worried Angel who continued flapping his wings and furrowing his brows.

"Peace be upon you, Angel Hope."

As soon as Archangel Jin's hand touched the top of Angel Hope's head, he felt so much peace that the frown his face turned into a beautiful smile.

"Thanks, Angel Jin."

"You're welcome Angel, now where were we? Ah, here. Come on."

Archangel Jin flew to the edge of the border and motioned the other to follow him.

"Look, Angel Hope, remember when I said light shall always prevail and the earth will witness that day?"

Angel Hope nodded his head remembering the day when they banished the Morning Star, this was what the Archangel have told him.

"Now is the time Angel Hope. We will send the brightest light of heaven into the human world. It has been written in the Golden Book that this day will come, it was the prophecy and I am delighted we both are here to witness this."

"Are we sending our angel into a mission Archangel Jin?"

"Not exactly Angel Hope, but sort of."

Angel Hope was staying afloat beside the Archangel not really understanding the prophecy he shared.

"You see, the Divine has prophesied that one day, to overturn the darkness which caused by one of our own, the purest angel of heaven's soul will be sent down to battle it."

"Where do we find this pure soul Angel Jin?"

Archangel Jin chuckled a little causing the clouds around him to shimmer in pink and gold before he turned his attention from the chaotic dark world beneath them to the angel beside him.

"The soul is here with us, the soul is born and will be blessed by us all to keep the soul pure."

"What? I am back to not understanding you Angel Jin."

The two were interrupted by a loud and beautiful choir ringing through each corner of the heaven with the message 'The divine soul is born, let the heaven rejoice. Light to the darkness is born today."

Archangel Jin broke into a wide smile on his face while Archangel Hope just glares at him with so much adoration.

"So these are the advantages of being the highest Archangel is it Angel Jin? You know everything a step ahead of time. This divine angel will be used to defeat the darkness?"

"You are right Angel Hope, although it takes a lot of reading around the clock to keep up with the Highest Archangel's work, I think it's pretty cool to know things in advance, don't you think? And yes, this Angel will be sent to earth Angel Hope, to fulfil the course of the destiny."

"And may I know what will happen after this pure angel is sent to earth Angel Jin?"

It took a second for Archangel Jin to digest the question and his shimmering sparks around them went off as soon as his smile fell off his face.

"That my angel, only time will tell. Sometimes, being the highest Archangel won't guarantee all the answer. Especially when it comes to the game of destiny."

Awww, aren't they the cutest? I wish I have guardian angels over my shoulders as well. (Maybe we all do, just that we are not aware.)

So this is the second part of the prologue. Do people even do prologues in parts? I don't know but it's okay, let's just go with it.
