Prologue (3) - Little Pure Soul

"Lewt me gowww..." said a little 5-year-old boy who was being pushed around by a group of other kids that are a little older than him at the playground.

"Can't you boy up? Why are you always playing around yourself and imagining things on your own? You're a weirdo." An older boy around the age of 10 pushed the little one down to the ground.

"Ouchie..It huwtsss...Don't do this. Be nwice." The little one said in the verge of boiling his eyes out. Although he constantly gets bullied and pushed around, he has never grown hatred or anger towards anyone.

The little one always believes in being nice and kind to the others, something he was born to believe.

"Pfftt, booooo you suck." The older boy and his friends spit at him and left the playground trying to look for others to bully coz they got bored of this little 5-year-old.

As the little one watched the others left him, he sat there in silence for a while before looking up at the sky and start wandering his thoughts around. As usual.

"Angels...are you welistening to me? Pwease help those hyungs. They were mean to me but lewt them bwe kwind."

The little one has always believed in the angels above and never failed to talk to them as if they are surrounding him all the time. For some reason, the little one always felt hopeful and never shy away from showing it.

Probably that was the reason other kids refuse to engage with him much and call him a weirdo for he is always talking to the sky above or claims to be talking with the angels around him.

"I go home. Mommy will be loowking for me. Byew byew angels." The little one waved his tiny hands at the sky and smiled his little boxy smile running back home after dusting his pants off the dirt.

Back in the heaven

"Aigooo...isn't our little Taehyungie getting more adorable each day Hobi?" Archangel Jin flutters his wings spreading gold dust everywhere coz he was melting with the sight of the little pure one in the earth.

"Hobi? You mean I have a nickname now?" Angel Hope was a little stunned with the name change and also the style of speaking by Archangel Jin lately.

"Mhmmm, come on Hobi, we are angels, no doubts in that but we can always change according to the trends, can't we? It's 2020 now for Divine sake. Besides, we have known each other for hundreds of years, it won't hurt to be informal."

Archangel Jin winked at the other who was flustered with the new attitude of the older angel.

"Then I am sure you are cooking something in your magnificent brain, the highest one. Am I right?" Angel Hope chuckled.

"Of coz, you're not my trusted Angel for no reason aren't you Angel Hope?" Archangel Jin gently tapped his head and complimented Angel Hope who he has grown very fond of.

"True enough though, our little Tae is 5 years old now, it won't be long till destiny starts playing in his life and it concerns me that he always gets bullied around Angel Jin. Should I spend more time around him?"

Angel Hope has always had a super soft spot for the little pure soul whom they have descended to the earth to live among the human race.

He has always made sure he surrounds the little one with so much hope and protection that no one could harm the pure soul of heaven.

"That will not be a necessary Angel. We are not allowed to meddle in the human world until it's absolutely necessary. It will disrupt the balance of the high Divine and the world."

"But Archangel Jin, I really don't think so Taehyung will grow up well under this condition having no friends to love. He might lose his hope and kindness even before he starts fulfilling his destiny on earth."

Angel Hope knows better than to challenge the Highest Archangel Jin on his decisions but his poor little angel heart can't bear to see his little Tae Tae go through hardship in the face of the earth.

"I will not allow my pure angel to be tormented like that Angel Hope. After all, shouldn't you be a little more hopeful with your Archangel my dear Hobi?"

Angel Jin was sipping on his heavenly pink lemonade while grinning at his fellow Angel.

Looking at the tiny frown and the aura growing a little dim around the Angel of Hope, Archangel Jin sighed a little and decided to cheer his fellow Angel up.

"Want some flower tea Hobi?" Angel Jin snapped his index finger and thumb to make a cup of flower tea appear for his fellow Angel.

"Angel Jin, you're really something divine." Angel Hope never fail to get stunned by his High Angel antics so he just took the cup of tea and sipped it while sitting comfortably on the cloud, legs folded in observing little Taehyungie running back home.

"So what do we do now Angel Jin?"

"Wait and watch My Angel." Archangel Jin continued to sip on his own lemonade with now accompanied by some deliciously baked cookies which he also kindly shared with Hobi.

Back on earth, little Tae was running or more like waddling his way back while singing when he suddenly bumped into someone.

"Ouwiiieeee, Tae fell down."

Little Tae was received by the ground yet again as usual when he bumped into someone and fell flat on his little bum.

"Sowiieeee, I was ruwnning."

The other little boy who knocked little Tae down rubbed his little bum as well since he fell on the opposite side.

"Oh...isowkay..I didn't sewww youw." Little Tae smiled adoringly at his little friend when he noticed the other boy was also on the ground with him.

"Let me hewlp youw. Here, holwd my hands." Tae's little friend got on his tiny feet and extended his hand to assist Tae.

"You're sow nice. I am Taehyung, you can cawl me Tae Tae."

Little Tae offered his hands and pulled his little friend into a bear hug earning tiny giggles from him.

"You're so comfyyyy, I wike you. I'm Jimin." Little Chim took his tiny hands to squeeze the bread cheeks in front of him, already adoring his new friend's cuteness.

"You stay here? Let's go home together! I will introwduce you to mommy, daddy and my angewls."

"Yes, I stay here. I will show you mommy and daddy as well."

The two little ones giggled as they walked hand in hand, helping each other to dust off their dirty little bum from the fall earlier.

As the two Archangels witnessed this adorable sight unveiling beneath them, they can't help but coo at the sight of the two little friends.

"What just happened Archangel Jin?"

"That, my Angel Hope is how you find yourself a soulmate for life. Now, we just wait and watch for the time to come and the little ones to grow."

Archangel Jin finished his lemonade and flew back to his seat to continue his daily reading on his Golden Book while the Angel of Hope continued munching on his cookies looking after the little one and his newfound friend, occasionally giggling at their silly conversations about dumplings.

Side note: If you haven't figured it out already, Jin is the highest Archangel of heaven while
Hobi is one of the Archangel (not the highest in rank as Jin).
