We'll be conducting a Q&A with the members of the boy group Endzone to get to know them a little better.
Interviewer: First, for the whole group, how did you feel when you were chosen to be part of Endzone?
Kyte: I was picked first so I wasn't even aware of how anything would go or who else would join me but I felt really good about myself for the trust the company had in me.
Snap: Well... I don't even know what I thought back then but it was quite exciting because I was not really one of the trainee standouts but yeah... it was a very precious moment in my life.
Maxy: Oh... I... I was really shocked and happy. I thought to myself "I need to work even harder now" and I'm happy to be part of this group.
Chihun: It was really incredible! When they told me I'd be joining the squad it really felt like I was finally stepping towards my dream.
Q: I still am very surprised. I'm not really a good dancer and my singing is not that nice but the company believed in me and... I'm just very thankful for the opportunity... I'll do my best.
Sunwoo: (laughs) I was so happy! I was hoping to be chosen but I was the third announced member which was way earlier than anything I could've predicted. I was just... really happy.
Minjae: I felt like everyone here... I felt really good it sure was a happy moment and it felt even better when the other guys were chosen because I like them very much.
Ichiro: Words can't really describe. I felt very happy but at the same time very scared. I was the last member to join and I also was the least experienced. Prior to joining the company I had zero experience in idol training but still I gave it my all and they believed in me enough to choose me.
Silk: It was a moment to always remember really... It felt so crazy to me that I was actually doing what I wanted to for such a long time. All the time I've spent was so I could do this so I feel rather joyful.
Haeseong: It was nerve-wrecking honestly (laughs). I had been training for a long time and I thought "maybe I'll be called up right away" but they actually didn't choose me right away and I started getting really scared. In the end I was just overreacting to things and they did end up calling me and it was truly a most happy moment.
Syx: I remember the exact moment I was announced to join... I was literally telling Minjae who had already been chosen that I was sure I was not going to be picked and then they called me and told me I made it. I celebrated like crazy it was such a big moment for me. I'll always give my best just like I have been.
Interviewer: Okay. It seems everyone was waiting for a moment like this. We'll move on to some random questions for each member. Kyte, what do you do in your free time?
Kyte: Well... when I do have free time nowadays I like to eat with the members or just take some time to sleep honestly.
I: Alright. Minjae, do you have any interests that most people haven't heard of?
Minjae: I don't know if I have anything like that but I really like to listen to New Age music. There are a few artists I like but I've been into William Ackerman's Passage album as of late.
I: That's really cool. Sunwoo, who inspires you to be better?
Sunwoo: Wow... actually a lot a of people do. My parents have always supported me... the members are always very helpful and seeing them do so well pushes me to do better too... and obviously the fans... they just give us so much love that it keeps us going and we want to always give them our best.
I: Really sweet. Syx, do you any pet peeves?
Syx: (laughs) I don't really want to expose anyone here but I hate it when I'm sleeping and someone asks me if I'm sleeping (laughs) and also I get very mad if I'm doing the dishes and someone has left their dirty ones somewhere and I only find out after I'm done with the dishes.
I: I think a lot of people will empathize with you. Snap, what role do you play in the group?
Snap: (laughs) I'm a rapper so I guess I'm like the swag... the swaggy guy... the swagger guy? (Laughs) I mean I could also be like the guy who speaks english because I most likely have the best english in the group.
I: Oh, does everyone agree?
Everyone agrees.
I: Okay, moving on... Haeseong, what talent of yours would you like to show off in a talent show?
Haeseong: I think the fans knows this one (laughs)... I would most certainly dance and I'd try doing some popping and locking hip-hop dance. That's what I'd do.
I: That is a main dancer, alright. Now, Silk, do you have any nicknames other than Silk?
Silk: The fans have jusr started calling me Dove... I don't really know why but maybe it's sort of the energy I give... I don't know... and the members call me Han sometimes too.
I: Interesting. Chihun, what was the best compliment you've ever received?
Chihun: I don't know about the best one but a recent one I've received really stuck to me. We were all practicing our dance routine and Kyte commented that I was really amazing when I was in the center and that he wanted to record it. I felt really good about my performance... it was really nice.
I: No wonder Kyte is the leader. Maxy, when people come to you for help, what do they usually want help with?
Maxy: (laughs) Honestly, nowadays the members have relied in me and Haeseong for mastering a few moves. The accuracy for some angles is really important for our choreos and since everyone wants do a good job, they come to us for help.
I: You must be a good teacher. Okay, Q, what's the best thing you got from one of your parents?
Q: It wasn't anything concrete. It was something my mom said to me when I was having a tough time figuring out what I wanted to do with my life. My mom told me to always listen to what my heart says because it knows where I belong. After that, I realized that I could only find my true self through music.
I: That was really sweet, your mother sounds like she supports you very much. Lastly, Ichiro, when was the last time you changed your opinion about something major?
Ichiro: That's a good one. I actually believed that singing was something that people were born with a natural talent for but I've come to realize that in reality anyone can sing, you just have to practice hard and put a lot of effort just like the members do... that's why I admire them so much.
I: Really nice. Well everyone, this was Endzone's Q&A, hope you all had a good time meeting a little bit of these super talented boys. See you next time.
