Let's keep this going, shall we?
Question: Which member are you the closest to?
Kyte: I'm closest to Syx these days but I'm very close to the older members. Syx and I used to hang out a lot before our debut.
Haeseong: Maxy. We have been practicing together ever since he joined the compamy and we've been super close since then.
Sunwoo: It's tough choosing one but I'd say Ichiro and I have been spending a lot of time together ever since our debut.
Maxy: It's Haeseong. As he said we've been together practicing since my first day. We are like brothers for sure.
Ichiro: Oh, it's Chihun. We are always together, he's like my baby brother. It's always a good time when we are together.
Q: Ichiro. We are the only japanese members and we hang out a lot with other japanese idols too.
Chihun: My big bro Ichiro. We share a bunk bed and have long talks at night. We bonded a lot through Endzone M too.
Silk: I'm closest to Minjae. We sing a lot together and it made us very close.
Syx: I'm closest to Kyte but it's tough to choose. I really am very close to everyone in the group but I've known Kyte the longest and we've experienced a lot together.
Snap: Minjae. We quickly became friends also because we are from the same year. We get along really well.
Minjae: Snap. It's more than just our age, we just have good chemistry. We enjoy each other's company.
Question for Kyte: How hard is it for you to be the leader of Endzone?
Kyte: It's one of the most important things in my life. The opportunity to lead this team was given to me by the members and I'm giving it my best to be the leader they need.
Question: How did your family react when you decided to join SM Entertainment?
Kyte: I actually auditioned in secret. When I was notified that I got into SM I decided to tell my parents and they were upset that I hadn't told them about it. They were supportive of my choice and are very happy that I debuted.
Haeseong: My mom always supported my dancing so she encouraged me to audition. We were both really happy when I got in.
Sunwoo: My parents were okay with me joining SM as long as I didn't fall behind in my studies. I worked hard and they kept supporting me.
Maxy: My mom has been my biggest fan since day one. She was always looking for opportunities to allow me to dance. When SM came to Thailand she did everything she could to get me to audition. I'm very thankful for everything she's done for me.
Ichiro: If I have to be honest, it was never in my plans to join SM until they scouted me in Japan. My parents told me that I should decide if I wanted to follow that path and I did. They support me a lot from home.
Q: My parents always knew about my passions and I told them I wanted to become a musician. They encouraged me to do it and I hope I'm making them proud.
Chihun: My mom and dad always told me that I should do what I love and since a young age I was obsessed with dancing. When I got in SM we had a big celebration.
Silk: SM approached me while I was in China and that changed my plans. I told my parents I wanted to go to Korea and they weren't willing to allow me but in the end they decided that it would be the best for me.
Syx: Speaking truthfully, my dad wanted me to focus on my studies so I auditioned in secret. I didn't think I would get in but I did and I knew I'd have to tell my dad about it. He was reluctant but said I should do it if I kept my studies going.
Snap: Actually joining SM was my brother's idea. He was the one that wanted me to become an idol. Our parents were always saying that we should do what makes us happy but I was afraid of trying to do music. Luckily, I listened to my brother and auditioned for SM and now here I am.
Minjae: SM scouted me after I performed at a national singing competition but before that I had never even considered becoming an idol. Me and my parents discussed things for a long time but I decided to give it a try and I'm truly glad I did so.
Question for Haeseong: How were your days as a trainee?
Haeseong: Oh, there are plenty of stories from those times. Well, I got into SM in 2009, I was only 12. I was excited and nervous but in my first dance class I got a lot of compliments. I became quite used to everyone quickly. I remember Kyte was like the most popular trainee. All the boys were trying to be like him and all the girls wanted to talk to him but he was so serious, he looked really cold. One day, I remember clearly that me and Kyte were nominated as leaders for 2 dance groups and we'd have sort of like a competition. Kyte's performances were amazing and we had no chance of winning. I also remember the late night meals I had with other trainees. Syx, Sunwoo and Snap were always present that I remember. I can also remember of the atmosphere around the building when trainees were being called up to SM Rookies. We knew about the boy group project and it made everyone super anxious. Everyone was hyping me up to be one of the first members but it was not happening I was feeling sick, feeling hopeless it was awful. When I got called up I just celebrated like crazy. After that, being a trainee in SM Rookies with the other guys was really cool. We only practiced amongst ourselves and had a lot of activities too. It was a great time but I'm enjoying our time as Endzone even more.
Hello guys, I'll be continuing with this Q&A for the next chapters. Leave a comment to let me know what are you thinking of the boys and see you next chapter. Much love!
