AHHHHHH. So, designers block (artist's block? Idk writer's block for designing) is a very real thing and so is a lack of time, so to try and get myself to make something (anything), I decided to challenge myself to make a cover with two elements I normally kinda don't do well with.

1. Primary colors

2. Annnnnd naked men

So here ya go.

So here ya go

I'm hoping to work on my queue soonish but we shall see. Depends on time and motivation. I have been trying to make people's covers (honestly, swear to god) but they keep turning out like freaking trash so even though I've put like 30+ hours into trying to work on my queue I've got nothing to show for it.

Ah, perfectionism, how I hate thee.

Also, on another note, a friendly reminder to all of y'all who have covers I've made. I do have some ground rules that I've been noticing some people have been breaking. This includes crediting me when you use my cover among other rules that I'll restate here. Friendly reminder, breaking them means you can't request from me anymore or at least, I won't be very likely to take a request from you again.

So:

1. You must tell me when you start using my cover. Which should be within a month of getting the cover.

and:

2. You must tell me when you stop using my cover.

I am not all-knowing (I've tried, but the fates wouldn't trade fig newtons for knowledge. Who knew, right?) and I like to try and be respectful and supportive to authors and other designers. For telling me when you start using it, it's so I can show off your book and be like "look! people! Go read the book I made a cover for!" And then I blast it across my instagram, my deviantart, and literally any other platform I can. Yes, you may not know it, but you get off-site promotion from me.

And for the other one... It's a bit yikes to me to have your book in my reading list being all like "Books I've made covers for!" or continuing to promote it on my Instagram/other media but I didn't make the cover. It makes it seem like I'm taking credit for someone else's work (or I'm just kinda stupid) which is not my way of doing things (idk I may be stupid, jury's out).

Also, if you don't end up using my cover within a month or so (unless I for some reason gave you a pass and we talked about it), I'd ideally like to turn it into a premade. Most covers take me a long time to make for them not to be used or put anywhere. I also make covers for legit published books. And since I don't ask for anything other than credit and a follow for payment (because it amounts to easy advertising for me), it basically means that you get my work for nothing at all.

Which is fineeeeee, but not ideal.

Idk guys just respect my work. I don't care if you don't respect or like me, I get it. It happens. Just idk, some courtesy would be cool.

Toodles y'all.
